You Can't Stop The Beat-Hairspray(especially Tracy's dance)
I agree with you on Voulez-Vous, but I will also add
Gimme!Gimme!Gimme! to that to. Step in Time was also pretty amazing.

Man .. you guys totally stole my joke.
I thought I was gonna be so witty and mention the *Tony-Award Winning* Spring Awakening choreography, but you guys beat me to it!
But seriously I liked the opening of Wedding Singer, Nicest Kids in Town from Hairspray, and most of Millie's choreography (The Speed Test was amazing).
All of Fosse
All of ACL
"Step In Time" from Mary Poppins
"Dancing Through Life" from Wicked
There's more, but this is just off the top off my head at the moment.
I agree with most of Billy Elliot! It was one show I left with a big smile on my face and speechless! Can't wait till it comes here!
Anything Andy Pellick touches, but particularly the Bird Cage scene in La Cage aux Folles.

All the choreography in A Chorus Line is great, but I have to really point out with the others that "Music and the Mirror" is an exceptional number. Donna McKechnie's performance is fascinating. You can just see that Cassie must express herself using her body.
"We're in the Money" from 42nd Street
Some of the choreography in Cats because the dancers looked like they weren't bound by gravity.
Ann Miller in the movies. Dang, that girl could tap!
All of A Chorus Line
"Step in Time" and "Jolly Holiday" from Mary Poppins
"It's Your Wedding Day" - The Wedding Singer
"Cold Feets" - Drowsy
the opening number of 42nd Street
"Forget About the Boy" - Millie
Broadway Legend Joined: 8/16/04
The title song from La Cage.
"Nuttycracker Suite" - Thoroughly Modern Millie
"Thataway" and "Kansasland" - Curtains
"One" - A Chorus Line
"Step in Time" - Mary Poppins
The Opening Number- 42nd Street
Lullaby of Broadway- 42nd Street
Hello 12, Hello 13, Hello Love- A Chorus Line
One- A Chorus Line
Opening/ I Hope I Get It- A Chorus Line
It's Your Wedding Day- The Wedding Singer
Forget About the Boy- Thoroughly Modern Millie
Our House- Our House
Go Into Your Dance- 42nd Street
We're In The Money- 42nd Street
Tradition- Fiddler on the Roof
pretty much all of Movin' Out
You guys should have seen BALLROOM!
WOW
Everything from A Chorus Line, of course. Specifically The Music and the Mirror; that entire number is just draw-droppingly intense.
Turkey Lurkey Time. Especially after they do the criss-crossing and then the Donna, Baayork, and Margo come up to the center and the entire cast joins in on "A snowy blowy Christmas...". Chills. Chills, I tell you.
The Time Warp from the Rocky Horror revival was really unique.
Nicest Kids in Town from Hairspray.
Today 4 U in RENT. When Angel jumps flat footed onto that table my jaw drops every time I see it.
Fosse's "Mein Herr" in the Cabaret film.
Danny Daniels title number from WALKING HAPPY,
and all of Oona White's work in HALF A SIXPENCE, those were dancing Musicals.

I looked at the thread title and thought I'd be the only one...I guess not.
According to my definition and the definition on dictionary.com, there was no choreography in Spring Awakening. At best, I think it was considered "organized chaos choreography."
There is some great choreography in Wedding Singer and Hairspray.

I really loved a lot of the choreography in Curtains.
Also, pretty much all of the choreography at the Town Hall concert All Singin', All Dancin'.
Gwen Verdon and Bob Fosse in "Damn Yankees" movie doing "Who's Got The Pain"- perfection!!!
Ann Reinking in anything from "Dancin"
"Movin Out"
"A Chorus Line"
"Take off With Us" both in "Fosse" and "All That Jazz"
Gene Kelly in anything...
so i know ill sound slightly jerky but...
ESPLANADE by Paul Taylor
DIVERSION OF ANGELS by Martha Graham
two of my favorites...and hey, they're on stage :)
All of Fosse's stuff.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Rob Ashford, but highlights:
Havana scene in Guys & Dolls
all of the dance in Parade (he's direction's brill as well!)
Bueno Aires in Evita
title song in Millie
Jerry Mitchell:
La Cage
Hairspray, esp You...Beat!
LOVE Stephen Mear as well, highlights are:
his work in Anything Goes: my first live musical with big cast and tap dancing!
Mary Poppins
Acorn Antiques, the last song where they did a parody of some musical dances like ACL & Fosse
I also liked the choreography of Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake & Nutcracker.
Also On Your Toes with Adam Cooper, not sure who the choreographer was though.
Anything from A Chorus Line
All of Movin' Out
"It's Your Wedding Day" and "All About the Green" from The Wedding Singer
"You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray
"We Are the Altar Boyz" from Altar Boyz (also La Vida Eternal, but more cause it was SO funny)
"Step in Time" from Mary Poppins
Maybe I'm overlooking it, but it just occured to me...all these posts (mine included) about Step In Time from Mary Poppins....
no one has mentioned SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOUIOUS. Talk about a workout!!!
How about "Cheek to Cheek" from Top Hat.
That dress.
Those lifts that correspond with the swelling music.

You mean "Cheek to Cheek"? Love that one too. I love a Fred Astaire number and how the skirt flows freely to the music.
I also agree with anyone who said these:
All of "A Chorus Line"
All of "Movin' Out"
All of "Wedding Singer"
"Supercal...", "Step in Time," and "Jolly Holiday" from MARY POPPINS
Here's my additions:
The move in SPRING AWAKENING that starts out in super slo-mo at the beginning ("Mama Who Bore Me") but then works its way up little by little through "Mirror Blue Night" and then becomes absolutely frenetic during "Totally F****d"
All of "West Side Story"
All of "Swing Time"
Jerry Mitchell's "La Cage Aux Folles"
Most of LEGALLY BLONDE (mainly Whipped into Shape, but in time I got used to the step-dancing in "Legally Blonde Remix")
All of "The Producers" (yes, including the walkers and the Busby Berkeley-style swastika)
All of "Hairspray" (I did the whole "You Can't Stop the Beat" dance from my seat, but I was all the way up in the nosebleed section, so nobody noticed)

"Dancing Through Life" dance break
wow. I don't know if these choices leave people actually "speechless".....but to each their own.
as for me, I was left speechless by
1. parts of Movin' Out
2. Saturday Night Fever (hated the show, but the dancing was amazing)
3. The Cagelles' numbers in the la Cage revival
