These producers have definitely been checking out our responses. Note that for the most part, the songs we were most worried about (Glory, Today 4 U, and for some YSB) were extended and now sound great. I swear every new bit of news changes my opinion. When the rating thing happened i was not feeling good about it, but now I'm officially back on the bandwagon.

Sweet. Everyone sounds really awesome. Finale A choked me up... wow. And on a side note- they changed the credit on "Will I?"... I THOUGHT that was Aaron Lohr singing.

OMgoodness...I can't stop grinning. It sounds awesome, and I absolutely love what Tracie did with TMOLM, it sounds just like how she did it at Bryant Park.

Ah, I left right before this was posted! I'm trying to catch up, but wow.

Why'd they change the line in Out Tonight from Christmas Day to New Years Day. It keeps throwing me off.
Out Tonight takes place on Christmas Day as opposed to Christmas Eve now. The first act of the show has been extended over a few days as opposed to all being on Christmas Eve like in the show.

mmmm... I dunno... probably just my speakers. I won't say anything 'till I hear it in the movie theater... everyone else seems to think he sounds fine. so I'll shut up...

The sound is crappy on my comp as well. I keep getting static, I'm not sure how that's happening, but I'm pretty sure it's not my speakers.

Gah, now I can't wait until the soundtrack comes out so I can hear the whole songs! I was going to get it anyway, but it wasn't "OMG BE HERE NOW" like I was with the movie until now.

Uh, sorry, I've had entirely too much sugar tonight. My fangirly-ness is only temporary.

I really like Rosario's sound in the beginning of the the Another Day clip...it's a little different, but it's so smooth, I like it a lot. I defnitely have faith in her!

P.S.- Is it just me or did the word "pay" in Rent sound a little off?

P.P.S- Over the Moon is much more...hostile. Hmmm...

For some reason, I love the way Anthony says "cannot" in WYO. Thats why he is so amazing, every word really means something to him. I am in utter amazement.

it's amazing that after 10 years they can re-visit this music and have a slightly different take to it. I love the heavier rock influence.

I'm going to the Virgin Megastore in Boston the night before it comes out :)

I'm finding all these little things I love- like the way Rosario/Tracie sing "I'd be happy to die for a taste of what Angel had" in Goodbye Love, such a cool harmony.

to those having the speaker issue...

I've got my ipod headphones in and it sounds wonderful...if you have headphones, try plugging them in, that might give you a better idea as to if you like it or not :)

pointpark kyle, I know what you mean. He sounds amazing on Halloween too; I'm so glad that song made it into the movie.

Broadway_Baby, I think the hostile OTM works. I mean, Benny's evicting them, Maureen has every right in the world to be pissed and to portray that in her piece when talking about him. I've seen different Maureens play it funny or angry, and both make sense.

Wilson's voice sounds much higher than it did on the OBCR, I was shocked when I heard ICY. It's just so weird to hear the exact same people sing these songs, and still have even the vocals sound so dramatically different.

I just have to say that Tracie is gonna blow the roof right off! I'm so pumped to see her performance.

I have to agree that I am totally amazed by the actor's new interpretations of the material. I can't wait to see all the new aspects and depth they bring to these characters.

For some reason I can't hear the extended versions of any of the songs. The time comes up and will say that the clip is 53 seconds long for example and then will only play for 40. Oh well. It's just amazing to me that we could all have so many different individual technical problems while trying to play the same thing.
