I'll be seeing the tour in March. These names aren't familiar to me so I'm glad to hear that.

Yes to Megan, yes to Becky....SAMONSKY WHY. I'll be straight. I have no good opinion on him. He is someone I can't understand for my life how he continues to get cast...

Posted: 7/31/18 at 2:23pmI would imagine McGinnis is playing Janice. Not sure about the others.

Overall, I really enjoy the names associated with this cast. I’d enjoy it more if we knew who was playing who.
Andrew Samonsky is a genuinely good guy I’m glad I’ve had the chance to work with. Great dude to hang out and have a beer with. Funny as all hell and makes people comfortable. Sadly, his genuine nature and attitude don’t translate on to the stage. He’s really, really...one dimensional on stage.

McGinnis is probably Janis, Gulsvig is likely Beverly Bass, Danielle K Thomas is maybe Hannah? Though I'd love to see her as Beulah.

I saw a post on Facebook that Becky Gulsvig is playing Beverly Bass. Source.

Christine Toy is Diane and Julie Johnson is Beulah. Those are the only two I've got for you.

That same source states
“We are so excited to announce that BECKY GULSVIG (Beverly), JAMES EARL JONES II (Bob), and HARTER CLINGMAN (Oz) have been cast in the first national tour of Come From Away!”

My guesses, based purely on their age and how they look based on a google search, so definitely don't quote me
Beverley - Becky Gulvsig (confirmed)
Oz - Harter Clingman (confirmed) (also quite a young looking Oz but okay)
Bob - James Earl Jones II (confirmed)
Kevin T - Andrew Samonsky
Kevin J - Nick Duckart
Claude - Chamblee Ferguson
Nick - Kevin Carolan
Beulah - Julie Johnson
Bonnie - Emily Walton or Megan McGiniss (but probably Walton)
Diane - Christine Toy
Hannah- Danielle K. Thomas
Janice - Emily Walton or Megan McGinniss (but probably McGinniss)

Per a friend, Megan is Bonnie.
Edit- I had the names confused. She’s playing the SPCA lady who is Bonnie.

This makes me VERY eager now to see the show, when before I was kind of meh. I saw Andrew Samonsky in the National Tour of “The Bridges of Madison County” and loved the guy. Great voice!

Posted: 7/31/18 at 8:05pmI imagine Samonsky is playing Kevin T or maybe Nick? He’s....wrong for both.

this is a terrific cast, all top notch, with many whom have done tours before. I do wonder why this was made into a SETA contract, that's what the casting call said. This has been a very profitable show on Broadway, and is not that expensive to tour with the small size set. Also, I noticed that the upcoming Charlie and the Choc Factory tour has its casting call as being a production contract, which doesn't make sense for a show that fared poorly financially on Broadway. The set is very spartan for Charlie, maybe they wanted to reinvest the money into performers' salaries?. Or maybe there is a big name they had in mind to play Wonka, one who could only do it with a full production contract? I'm sure borle's not doing it, but maybe somebody else big is out there about to do the tour.

Posted: 8/1/18 at 9:39amCorrect me if I'm wrong, but was it the Come From Away tour casting, had rumours of someone who hadn't been on Broadway in a while, but people loved them, and we were all assuming it would be someone in the Beverly/Jenn Colella role?

I saw that Adam Halpin is in the ensemble. I was curious about Megan touring, considering she had a baby within the last year - but looks like her husband is part of the show and the family stays together. I just thought that was good that it worked out like that for them.

I definitely remember this rumor. My first thought had been Kate Shindle, though now I'm not sure she would have wanted to jump right back on tour after touring with Fun Home. I'd love to see her in this role eventually though.

I'm so happy for more Dallas talent getting booked! I've seen Julie and Chamblee in so many shows here I've lost count. I'm just upset the tour, as of now, isn't even hitting Texas. If it does, I hope they'll still be in it.
