I'm so happy for more Dallas talent getting booked! I've seen Julie and Chamblee in so many shows here I've lost count. I'm just upset the tour, as of now, isn't even hitting Texas. If it does, I hope they'll still be in it.

Adam Halpin is a standby. This show has no ensemble.
Marika Aubrey, Jane Bunting, Michael Brian Dunn, Julie Garnyé, Adam Halpin, and Aaron Michael Ray are the standbys. Jane Bunting was recently in the Broadway production as a vacation standby. I know she went on as Bonnie, not sure about anyone else

I think it's pretty obvious Danielle K. Thomas will be playing Hannah/others. This would leave Emily Walton as Janice/others.

Thrilled for Marika Aubrey - she was amazing as Mrs Wormwood in the Australian production of Matilda! She also welcomed a baby this year (although I think they are still going through the foster care system), so it sounds like there’ll be a couple of bubs on tour!

The tour started in Seattle this week. Curious to hear opinions from anyone who has seen it.
Saw this on tour in Oklahoma City tonight. Man, am I glad I did. I saw this way back in November of 2017 and it was my least favorite of the six shows I saw on that trip, but I was really, really tired when I saw it. It came at the end of a busy Saturday.
So I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see it again, but when I checked on Saturday, tickets in the front row center orchestra had opened up for $99 total and I couldn’t pass that up. Glad I didn’t.
Much more emotionally involving this time. Single tear streamed down my left cheek when the passengers finally find out what has happened. My eyes were pretty misty off-and-on throughout. Cast was universally great. Only standby we had was Brandon Springman for Oz and others. I’m trying to remember which character Oz is. His bio pic isn’t helping to ring any bells.
This was the perfect salve I needed amid the current political climate, especially this week, especially today. It’s good to be reminded there are really, really good people in the world. By the way, apparently the female pilot featured in the show now flies charter flights out of Wiley Post airport here in OKC.
I bought the plush Commander Gander to join my Wicked flying monkey, Book of Mormon frog, and Aladdin bear. I also bought the tote bag which was only $5 with any purchase.
Oz Clarke is the Gander Policeman, and his track also features as the Spanish Teacher and the Rabbi, among many many others.
