I can't believe it! I was going up July 14th and it was on the top of my list! It's been the one show I have been dying to see since it opened this season!! Now 4 weeks in NY and I wont be able to see it... I think I may send a letter to the theatre at least congratulating them for putting on such a great show.

Oh no. What a fantastic show. This is NOT what I call a birthday present (it's July 1). Perhaps I'll just force all my friends to go to the final performance instead of a birthday party? Hmmm.

Just bought a ticket but I cannot make it to the final show...I'm going the day before.

I'm having a really hard time to believe that in just two weeks, I'll be seeing it for the last time ever. Two weeks is not long.

Emcee, how many times have you seen the show so far?

It's not that bad compared to some things I've read on here, but undisclosed.

This is really too bad. I wish I could see it again before it closes, but since I don't live in New York, that won't be happening. This production was really one of the best, if not the best, theater experience I have ever had.
I hope the cast finds work soon. The talent they have is too good to not get them hired.

There's a lot I am not certain of...

Front mezz. I decided months ago that that's where I wanted to sit when I saw it for the last time.
Why there?
Why there?

This news was really too much for me this morning. I mean after Sunday, I didn't know how much more depressing news I could take, but the Company producers sure delivered. I come back into the country on the 24th and I already plan on seeing it twice, once on the closing of coarse. Ever since I saw it before I came to England in January, I was praying it would stay open till I got home, so I'm at least thankful for that:)
I'm glad to hear that the theater will be filled with people with such love for the show on closing, we will give them the best energy they could possibly ask for:)

TapTapTapioca -- IMO, the show's visual beauty is best seen from above. The front mezz is perfect, because you're looking down on the set and you get the whole picture, but you're still not too far away. So, I decided that's where I wanted my last memory of it to be from because it's so, beautiful from up there.

I already posted in this thread, but I just finished rewatching Raul's Tony performance and I was crying throughout it. Along with Another Winter in a Summer Town, Being Alive is the most touching song I've heard this season. I can't believe Company will be gone in only two weeks.

If you haven't seen it...go. It is a wonderful production. No one thought it would run forever, this does seem a little too brief a run, but for all those who saw it, we have great memories.

I was very upset when I read it's closing as it was at the top of my list of shows to see I didn't already have tickets for for my NYC trip. But then I saw the 1st, which made me quite happy, as my trip is June 30th - July 8th. Is the last show the matinee? If so, I'm going! Can't wait!
