Like I said, I'm not at all surprised. However, I'll be very sorry to see this work of art leave us.

Unfortunately, NONE of us are surprised. very, very sad!

I love this show! It was the first show in a long time to leave a true feeling of theatre love in my heart and so I wll be said to see it go.

I'm surprised because it is right after it's Tony win, but before then it was marked for closing.
I'm very sad this is closing.

Emcee's out seeing the show tonight. She's heard the news, though.

Is there any chance this will extend if business picks up good and fast? I'm desperate to see it, but I wont be in town until after 4th of July.

I'm not sure if that's very likely, but we can always hope. However, I think it would be better if the show closed with a lot of love rather than dragging on without much success.

Not gonna happen. Sorry. Just a harsh truth

*Sigh* All good things must come to an end, I suppose. I'll be there closing night.

^^ I so wish I could...I hope I can find a way to go to NYC before it closes, but I doubt it'll happen. I am so depressed right now.

Far too soon.

I knew this was coming. It's a great show. I hope theatregoers flock to it in its final weeks.

I've never been so upset...
My NY trip is scheduled for July 5th-13th and this was THE show to see on my list other than SA.
I'm going to go cry now. :'(

I am not surprised, but still sad that the actors will be out of work.
They didn't give much notice though.

How do you guys think rush will be for closing night?
I'm not sure if I'm going to buy a full price ticket or rush.

This is like the knife the Tony voters stabbed in our stomachs with Raul's loss wasn't quite enough... they had to announce two days later that we're losing Company all together.
What an amazing production, I feel so fortunate to have seen. Good luck to all the cast and hopefully we'll see Raul in another amazing role soon! :)

Travel alone would cost me $300, but I was seriously considering it until I realized that the first day of my summer session class is July 2.

What a freakin' shame. Yes, it was coming, but who wants to see it really happen?

I even slightly-seriously considered a Greyhound trip with my mom. Which at least 70% would have happened if it had stayed open through July. Oh well.
The only thing that surprises me about the news is how disappointed I am.

This is pretty much it for Raul, right? I mean, box office poison or WHAT?
