WTF? How did Modern Family not win?
#3

Congrats Glee!!!

glee is definitely one of my guilty pleasures and i cannot deny that it is an enjoyable show, but it is not, by any means, better than 30 rock or most of the other shows it was nominated with. it is neither smart nor original. it is just new and enjoyable. but i digress, 30 rock has already been well-accoladed.

eta: and now sandra bullock won for playing the same role she played in crash. only worse. and in a terribly cheesy film. gabourey deserved it. i'm turning off my tv.

Congrats Glee!!!

I absolutely LOVE GLEE and watch it over and over again but I will admit it is just plain bad television.
#8

Congrats Glee!!!

You shouldn't watch Glee, Annas, it has that homo in it. Not to mention the premarital sex! AND teen pregnancy!!! Lordy, I'm getting the shakes just thinking about it.

Yuck.

Congrats Glee!!!

"30 Rock" is perhaps the biggest crapfest ever foisted on network TV. IT IS NOT FUNNY. And that Tracy Morgan is the most obnoxious, self-centered, unfunny man in America. I nearly vomited when I watched that trailer with him and Bruce Willis and I fear he is going to toally destroy "Death At A Wedding" with Chris Rock. He really needs to go away ASAP.

Congrats Glee!!!

Yes, Annas is three years old. And is a self-righteous b@stard. Can't stand it.

GLEE is a pile of crap. MODERN FAMILY was absolutely robbed... What an effing joke. I'll never forgive them!

Congrats Glee!!!

I actually hate 30 ROCK. It is not funny at all.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&. "Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
#17

Congrats Glee!!!

MODERN FAMILY is the only *funny* show that was nominated.

Congrats Glee!!!

I'm very upset that 30 Rock didn't. I hope it wins the SAG for best ensemble. I think its brilliant.

Congrats Glee!!!

The show is disgusting and besides them butchering songs from Broadway shows it is in no way Broadway related and therefore should not be on this board. Jeez, keep the TV news to the off-topic board!

Congrats Glee!!!

WishingOnlyWounds. The show has Broadway veterans in the cast. We discuss movies on here all the time just because they have broadway actors in them. Just because you don't like the show. Its not the best show ever created I'll admit but it is still worth appreciating

Congrats Glee!!!

I like Glee, well I like alot of shows on tv being the pop culture junkie that I am.
But in no way did Glee deserve that award. All the other nominated shows were far superior. I was actually thought that The Office or 30 Rock would take the award, and that would have been great since both are fine shows. But I was secretly hoping Modern Family would trump them all.

Needless to say, I was shocked that Glee won. Really?? Is it fun tv? Yes, but its poorly written and there is more autotune in the show that all of Britney Spears' albums combined.

BroadwayBound, Mandy Patinkin was on Criminal Minds, I didn't see any threads on that show.

Oh puh-lease, Wishing, do you really think Mandy would get the same reception that Lea Michele, Matt Morrison, & a rotating cast of Broadway regulars?
#25

Congrats Glee!!!

While I did enjoy Glee this season, I enjoyed Modern Family a whole lot more. To tell the truth, I wouldn't have been as into Glee if it wasn't for Jane Lynch. I think the singing is fine, the acting is horrible, and the plot mindless. I much prefer Modern Family which at least has more than one entertaining actor and a funny book!
