Corey Cott as Joe Gillis in Sunset Blvd?

I don't know how Corey could do sunset and bandstand at once.

Even if it were viable logistically, I can't help thinking that he would be really good in the role BUT there is just tooooooo much of an age difference between he and Glenn...it'd be gross.

To be fair, the age difference between Norma Desmond and Glenn Close is pretty drastic now, so I think there's going to have to be some suspension of disbelief no matter who they cast against her

In an age of casting without regard to race or physical ability (which I applaud) why is it ok to comment of how actors will 'look' based on their age? If we can suspend disbelief when an actor of color is an historical figure or the parent/child of a white actor, we should be able to handle age in this case as long as Joe is clearly younger than Norma (a plot point).
