Lol, she's claiming that she's done AGAIN! Wonder how long it will last this time.

Seriously, she's not cut out to be a star. She's in Hawaii and choosing to be involved with this. Imagine the things people tweet @ A listers. She'd never be able to deal.

I'm getting a sense of deja vu from her tweeting style, but I can't quite place it... Maybe it's the "believe me"?

Again, I'm hoping someone from the great comet speaks openly on this. Or at least a joint statement from the entire cast. It seems so unfinished without their full thoughts.

I have so much in my head about this issue in general, but pretty much all of it has already been said here, or elsewhere. But please say I'm not the only one who's seeing that outright, insane hypocrisy...She literally in a roundabout way demeans him, and comes back with that tweet?? I can't with her anymore, just no. If she doesn't see that hypocrisy in herself, then she deserves no more respect. There are many reason why this show is now closing earlier than it ever should have, but to deny her part in this, especially now, is foolhardy. 

Every single person understood that the optics on this were bad, and had nothing but knee jerk reactions, without thinking, just acting. Or rather REacting due to high emotions. I can't say enough that high emotions is NEVER a state one wants to make decisions or come to conclusions of any kind under. And thank to whoever said it, once some more facts were known, everyone wielding the figurative torch and pitchfork turned right around with their tails in between their legs without so much as an apology, let alone an "Oh, we were wrong". Honestly, it's this sort of non issue (in terms of the racial aspect) that gives the more conservative wing more fuel for their fire, because honestly they have good reason at times to be angry with the left. I'm slightly more left these days, but only just, because while I'm 1000% aware of the injustices minorities deal with, subtle and not so subtle, this was.not.one.of.them. It bears repeating that anyone...BUT ANYONE on Oaks career level who wasn't selling tickets as well as they thought, white, black, yellow, or brown, would have had to make way for Mandy. I just can't understand why some people aren't seeing this. It's as simple as they thought someone who's been in Hamilton could be a selling point for a show that we now know was in financial distress. It obviously didn't work, so off they go to a legend who happened to be free at the time, and was willing. Period. And we also know Oak is by no means innocent in this. Even I am tired of nothing but knee jerk reactions, this was made into an issue when it wasn't one. We're living a dangerous era that no one wants to look at themselves anymore to see what their own fault may be in anything. We all are guilty of this, but nowadays this is out of control.

I feel the same actually, but I doubt this will happen. If it did, it would would feel more like "Trying to calm the waters because they were told to, to alleviate negative press", rather than a legitimate "No, this is what really happened" sort of thing at this point. Just because someone/the press says it doesn't make it true. We all should know this by now, yet we keep falling for this.
