Just saw the trailer it's up and running. . . interesting that Jennifer Hudson's name does not appear with Jamie Fox and Beyonce . ..

So who are the 3 main girls? Beyonce & Jennifer, whose the other one? I'm surprised that they don't have Jennifer's name anywhere, considering she is the lead right?

Yeah, I'm surprised that they use Jennifer Holiday's vocals..maybe the stories about her playing Mama Effie are true! Can you imagine?

I still say it should say "and introducing Jennifer Hudson."

Hopefully once the movie is done and they do the real trailers they will mention Jennifer in that way.

Wow...stunning teaser. I love that it had elements of sexiness without Beyonce's half naked body...although I'm guessing that will come once shooting has wrapped.

Perhaps, at this time, "introducing Jennifer Hudson" may give negative press? "Ewwww, why is an American Idol person starring in a movie?"

but once there is footage of her, they can show her off.

I remember talking to someone who stated the same concern about having a american idol winner or contestant in the movie...they thought it was bad press and effortless. But Jennifer will do great.

I'm just surprised that people aren't talking about how Dreamworks is paying the liscencing fees for any amatuer theatrical production of it.

i think the trailer was made before jennifer was cast. Since i'm almost 100% certain that was all cgi....which is brilliant
