Yes, I'm making a Wicked post. Get over it.
Most of us in NYC have gone to Wicked to do the lottery, and I'd say at some point, 99% of us have lost. Cancellation line is full (and you don't have $100 to drop on the show anyway or you wouldn't have done the lotto in the first place).
Now what do you do?

Go see Rent? I don't know...

See The Pillowman, DRS, or Piazza.
Rush a different show. You've got enough time, yet.
Oh, I should add- I've seen every musical playing on Broadway now. Most of them 5+ times (including ASU, Rent, DRS, Mamma Mia, Hairspray, Chicago, Lion King, B&B, Spelling Bee, Q, Phantom, and then most of the off-broadway ones as well)

But have you seen Piazza or Chitty?
See a play. See something else again. See Chitty. Save your money for next season and go rent a movie.
I've seen both Piazza and Chitty, didn't care for either one. Plays bore me, I've tried quite a few and never enjoy them.
Rent a movie? But I'm out on the town in NYC!!!
But you've run out of ideas!
OH! How about a Fringe show?
Well, tonight when I go lose the lottery, I will have a 9 year old with me. So maybe not so much with Fringe for her....
But a good idea for me for future reference!
And the NYMF is coming up, too!
A 9 year old? Then Chitty is the way forward.
hooray Chitty!
God, I have such a problem.
I saw Chitty with an 11 year old (orch seats) and we were both rather bored... (sorry Em!)
It's okaaaay.
<--- = me not bored.
Then do something else, Liotte.
Go to Arriba Arriba for a Mama Margarita!

There are other awesome things in New York besides theater.
See a show again! Hairspray's right around the corner.

How about seeing Sweet Charity or Doubt?
I have always been a fan of Christina Applegate and Cherry Jones is an EXCELLENT ACTRESS not to mention a sweetheart!
Saw Sweet Charity, once was enough.
I'm looking for suggestions other than theater too, bring them on!

Have you seen Blue Man Group or Stomp?

Try the Spamalot cancellation line.
Seen Blue Man Group and Stomp 4 times each.
Spamalot was the dumbest thing I've ever seen and I have no desire to see that ever again. Plus cancellation tickets are $100, I don't want to spend that much on a ticket or I would have just paid for a Wicked ticket in the first place instead of the lottery.
