I guess good news for those who don't want to miss Philippa Soo in HAMILTON
And good news for the Great Comet audiences! Denée Benton is excellent as Natasha.
Denee is absolutely lovely in the role. (I cannot compare her, however, to Soo's performance.)
I think I owe my friend money now. I was so sure that the timing was perfect for Phillipa to finish out her Hamilton contract and then come back to the show.
Both were fantastic in the role. Congratulations to Ms. Benton who will likely generate a lot of buzz and a slew of nominations for her portrayal of Natasha.
Denee is divine. Josh Groban makes me nauseous. I detest his voice. Ill go during his vacation.
Having seen this twice at ART, I thought I would be able to forego a third viewing on Bway as I'm not a big Josh Groban fan. But, knowing that the superb Ms. Benton will reprise her Natasha on Bway, I have to reconsider. If Lilli Cooper and Scott Stangland are also on, I'm in!
I didn't get to see this at ART, but I loved Denee Benton in Mormon, so I'm super excited for her!
When I saw her she was simply amazing. I am nervous about Groban, but the role is so small that even if he is bad, the show can't absolutely tank. But hey, I'll stay positive for now. 2017 best musical? (Please???)

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a little bit disappointed. I loved Denee in the role, but Philippa was a force of nature in this show, and I'll miss seeing her "No One Else" again. Well, congratulations to Denee, and I'm sure she'll be getting plenty of attention for this wonderful role! Now we just need Josh Groban to not mess it up...

They are both great Natashas.
Heard Denee give a preview at BroadwayCon and it was gorgeous! Very excited.
She was my first Nabulungi in The Book of Mormon 2nd national tour here in L.A. She definitely has star quality. So happy for her.
