Daily Mail - meh - it is a middle of the road paper. not as bad as the Mirror but not one of the top.
I think the others are more reputable. Times and Guardian especially
Good to see this and thanks for posting.
Some of these quotes from the Mail don't even make sense and some are very funny
"The American performers are good-looking and plainly love every moment of the show. "
- why do their looks matter?
"Only the most reactionary grump could fail to applaud their professionalism"
-well, that's true.
"Berger leaps into the stalls to bully the front few rows. Your critic, seated in row C, was duly terrorised. Mr Swenson jumped up on my seat, tousled my own (receding) hairline and pushed his crotch towards my face.
It smelled faintly of matron's linament and coconut butter
That didn't seem right"
- he is such a bully and lol
"When you consider that the draft-dodgers included later warmongers such as Bill Clinton and George W Bush, it doesn't do much for the brand. "
was Bill Clinton a war monger??

Matron's linament?
Was that what I smelled in Will Swenson's crotch or is it something they only rub in their crotches in England?

^ glad you think so. i think it is more mixed in London.
devonian; (Devon is where i am half year, lurve it!)
that made me smile and think of Carry On Matron.
Pal Joey, i was close to it, but not that close so i wouldn't know what that all smelled like, but now i forever have a vision or a sensory perception when seeing it. I wonder if Ace Young smells like blueberry and pomegranate rub with baby oil. I may be wrong about above...what were the orignal reviews like in NYC and on the board. mixed or all positive?

"Maybe the reviewer just missed the smell of sweaty nut sack?"
- This is one thing I did not need to read on BWW.

"Absolutely- and matron always rubs it on for us."
Dev: don't pollute the Broadway board with the type of puerile, childish smut I splurge all over the West End board.
Besides which, you'll need a visit from Matron after I've administered your London Assurance with my Edwardian clothes brush.

Posted: 4/16/10 at 5:57pmWhich reviewer was it that complained their teeth were too nice to be hippies? The characters are American hippies, they probably went to the dentist semi-annually as children.
