Maybe it'll be gone in time for Le Queef Ze Shief?
Excited to see Kelli Barrett in a lead. She's fantastic. Would have been a great opportunity for Tam Mutu to star opposite Sierra though (except she's in a different show).

I'm onboard with most of the casting. Excited to see Tam Mutu make his Broadway debut and I'm a fan of Paul Nolan and Tom Hewitt. Kelli Barrett I can take or leave. I found her perfectly acceptable in Wicked, but I'd like to see a really deep and vocally spectacular portrayal of Lara. I want her to surprise me.
Though I knew he wasn't going to do it, a tiny part of me was still holding out for Anthony Warlow.
it's only the leads, not a full cast announcement.
And I'll also bet it's gone by Labor Day, just in time for Miss Saigon to move in for the Fall.

Why is everyone already rooting for this to fail?
There are shows like that every season. Soul Doctor, Spider-Man, Memphis, the list goes on.
I saw this in Melbourne. A dull tiresome night in the theatre. If this succeeds I'll be shocked.

Probably would have been incredibly awkward for the two of them though (they broke up earlier this year). And besides, I'm glad Sierra's not doing another doomed-to-fail European melodrama. Not that I think her show will necessarily be a hit, but at least it's something different for her.
I'm very excited for Paul Nolan as he'll already have another Broadway show lined up after Once. Also the fact that he'll be re-teaming with Des McAnuff and it'll be his first time creating a role on Broadway!
I second "OMG TOM HEWITT"! I think he is superbly talented with a voice that soars! I would see anything he's in. Even saw him in a regional production of "Titanic" and he was incredible.
Skylight2, you ask; "Why is everyone already rooting for this to fail?"
Because this board is populated with wannabes, cynics, depressives, bitterness and know it alls, who actually know nothing but try to act superior with their snarky comments.
In the words of Alan Jay Lerner: "It's a bore." (From an upcoming show that no one has seen but these rancorous a--holes will condemn and predict (wish for) its failure)
I've heard a couple of the songs, and I think they do sound pretty great...

Santos mentioned Memphis
It won a Tony for best musical. Not bad for a show many of the know it all's here said was D.O.A.

I've never heard of Tam Mutu. Sounds like an African name, but I see from his photos that he's white. Any word on his background? I see he's played Javert; he must have an excellent voice and acting chops.

Turkish and Italian. He was engaged to Sierra Boggess but I guess that's not happening anymore?

Thanks. He has quite the imposing look. I hope ZHIVAGO is a success.

So basically you're saying you are the pot AND the kettle.
