"no, I think it was an actual tie."
Probably. Isn't there like 10 voters?
Am happy about "Fences". I have a slight association with August Wilson through the DCTC and loved the acceptance speech.
Is La Cage that good? I have never seen it onstage.

I love how she said "happy now" as a line reading!
Another tie, please? Circle Mirror and Red anyone?
Drama Desks ain't as good as they used to be.
There goes the "award zoom" again lol
I've never seen LA CAGE before this production, and I'm so happy my first exposure was Terry Johnson's take on the material.
GO. SEE. IT.
He just dissed Eddie.
I almost can't bear to look. I don't even know what I want to win. Just not Memphis...

Hoping for Everyday Rapture...
I really loved La Cage and thought it was great, but I keep hoping Ragtime or Finian's pulls an upset. I certainly won't be disappointed if La Cage wins the Tony though.

OMG, there is going to be a riot up in here!
Kill me now. Shameful.
Good for Memphis.
Ugh. This has been a dull and disappointing night.
SERIOUSLY? Mitzi, what did you do to these envelopes?
Wayman Wong just jizzed.
There is still hope that the Tony won't go to this piece of crap, right?
I haven't seen the shows, but I think that I would have liked "Everyday Rapture" over "Memphis". Just based on what I have seen and heard.
What a terrible year. At least Finian's got one. Here's hoping the Tonys go a little differently.
Gross. How disappointing.
Ugh. Memphis is not even in the same league as shows like Everyday Rapture and Yank!...I haven't seen the other nominees but...come on Drama Desks.
Well considering the other crap that it's up against, I doubt it.
And love how Patti is just like, get me out of here!!!
