Since people seemed to like the Dream Mama Roses thread...
Which actresses would you love to see play Eva Peron? Obviously a very difficult role to sing that also requires immense acting and dancing skill. Very hard choices to make, I'll think about this one for a little before posting.

Lady Gaga would be a neat Evita. She definitely has the pipes. Mandy Gonzales would be a great Eva also. However I really don't know if I can think of anyone that matches the brilliant ferocity of Patti Lupone.

I couldn't think of anyone initially, then Bilbo3 mentioned Lady gaga and i instantly pictured her in the role. wow that would be amazing

Jackie Burns mentioned in an episode of Show People that she would love to play Evita, and that is certainly something I'd go see.
Also I'd die to see Ellyn Marie Marsh or Donna Vivino do it. Both those women have INCREDIBLE voices!

Lady Gaga. I have always thought it. She has the look, the voice, and she can move. Maybe not the best dancer, but it can be worked on.
