I've had my dream "Hollywood film remake" cast of A Funny Thing...Forum since I was like 16. I probably posted this on the forum at some point already, but whatever.

Jim Parsons as Pseudolus, Hugh Laurie as Hysterium, Judy Kaye as Domina, Jason Danieley as Miles Gloriosus, Evan Kazpryak as Hero, Rachel Bay Jones as Philia, and a special appearance by Steve Martin as Marcus Lycus.

Erronious and Senex are the only roles I can't come up with yet...

Audra Mcdonald as The Witch in Into the Woods.  I would give a limb to see that.  Christine Ebersole might be interesting as well.

Icecream, how about John McMartin reprising the Narrator? Mary Louise Wilson as Granny/Cinderella's Mother? Erin Davie as the Baker's Wife? Sarah Hyland as Little Red or Cinderella? Finally, Matt Cavenaugh as Jack.

I just had a brainstorm...reusing the entire cast of one show in another show! THAT could be interesting and fun...well, I think it would be anyway...

A revival of  A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, with Hugh Jackman as Stanley,  with Rachel Weisz or Michelle Williams as Stella.

I still stand by Audra as the Witch.  Brian D'Arcy James and Kate Baldwin would be great as the Baker and the Baker's Wife.  I could see Phillipa Soo being a great Cinderella.

Jessie Mueller in Funny Girl.

Cate Blanchett as Desiree in A Little Night Music.

Laura Benanti and Colin Firth in My Fair Lady.

Kelli O'Hara and Laura Benanti as Sally and Phyllis in Follies (in a few years of course).

Kelli O'Hara and Zachary Levi in the Music Man.

She'd kill it. I have really been wanting an HBO short series/ TV movie made out of this show, with Amy Sherman Palladino as the director. Sutton would be absolutely wonderful! I see no other way she'd take on a show like A Chorus Line even if they do a 2017 revival.
