Now that Rocky is finishing early I would love to see Margo Seibert as Catherine in Pippin, when gorgeous Rachel Bay Jones finally hangs up her hairpiece.

And I'd like to see Andy Karl in anything; if it involves nudity then so be it. I would cope.

Follies dream cast: Jane Lynch as Phyllis, Megan Mullally as Sally, Nathan Lane as Buddy and John Rubinstein as Ben.

As much as her stage presence would work, I still think that Mama needs a seriously powerful voice, which Eartha Kitt didn't have.

Wasen't Loretta Devine supposed to do Hairspray on Broadway or was that just a rumor? I remember hearing about it, but that was all. I think she would have made an interesting Motormouth- but i don't know how big a voice she has for the role, as her voice is pretty high and soft.

I know she played it regionally, but I'd love to hear Andrea McArdle's Eva! Likewise with Annelise van der Pol. Sadly, my other dream Eva was Laurie Beechman. I feel like she would have knocked that score out of the park!

On the subject of role they can't play but should have, if Wicked was around in the 1980's Betty Buckley would have been a killer Elphaba. Same in the late 1990's with Alice Ripley. I think Ripley at her peak would have been a phenomenal Elphaba.

I'd also love to see Stephanie J. Block as Diana in "Next to Normal!"
