Patti Lupone was in Sunset. However, she was fired. Then drama drama drama.....in a nutshell she did it before and she will probably never do it again. (I have a feeling that you already knew this)

I would love to see Patti LuPone take on Sally in Follies, to see her play a more nuanced, "quieter" character. It's not traditional casting, but I would love to see her in the role. I've heard her sing "Losing My Mind" (what I believe is the bet torch song of all time), and would kill to hear her "Don't Look At Me" and "In Buddy's Eyes".

Also Bernadette as Mrs. Lovett.

Also at the top of my list at the moment is Marin Mazzie's Francesca (BRIDGES), and Kate Winslet and Emma Watson in the NEXT TO NORMAL film*.

I've often spoken on here about perhaps putting a version of Tanz der Vampire more faithful to the German original on the English stage.
