Lupita Nyong’o (and the rest of the Public cast) is slated to transfer with it. Beginning previews on February 23 and opening on March 6 at the Golden Theatre.

What a great year for the Public having Fun Home, Hamilton, and Eclipsed all transfer to Broadway.
I wonder if this was a plan all along or if a film project fell through and they decided to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak.

Happy to see that many more will get to see this exceptional play with one of the best ensembles in New York. Thankfully the play shouldn't lose much at a small house like the Golden.

Great news! They'll be adding even more representation of POC to this already diverse season. I'm still gonna try to see it at the Public.
Funny, I've always thought of the Golden as being huge, but it's only 800 seats. I've always sat in the rear mezz (where rush seats usually are), and I always feel like I'm miles away from the stage.

I saw this at the Public--really incredible, intense, draining play. I'm glad I'll be able to recommend it to others now that it'll be possible to actually get tickets.

I got tickets for this weekend. Some seem to be opening up. Glad to see this at Public prices rather than Broadway prices.
