I think my favorite thing is that you must dress in neutral tones. I wanna show up wearing Magenta and see what they say. Might i pull the focus from Little Harry Potter?
It seems to me that the "center seats" onstage, (101 to 114) are about the worst seats in the theatre. They are directly behind the actors and would seemingly give you only a view of asses and the backs of heads. Yet when you search on Telecharge these are the seats that pop up first. I would think that the side stage seats, (especially toward the front of the stage) would be the best of a sorry lot.

You have to be 17 to sit onstage, so even if the fangirls were willing to pay that much to see Daniel Radcliffe naked, they won't be able to. I'm not sure who would pay these prices. I'm hoping they will have discounts or standing room because I do want to see this show, but not because Harry Potter is in it.
Not interested in on-stage seating, but I knew they were holding back on many of the better seats. I've been checking for front-row orchestra seats for a certain performance since the first day that tickets went on sale. Yesterday, I was able to purchase two 3rd row center orchestra seat tickets through telecharge with no problem. Played around with a few dates and there seemed to be plenty of good seats available that weren't available before.

I'm sure there are creepy fangirls in their 20's, though I don't think that anyone is going to be lunging out at him. I think the most annoying thing will be the cheering and snapping of pictures and whatnot.

I've never been to a Broadway show so I don't know what's the norm there, but none of these things happened when I saw the play in the West End. The group of teenagers who were sitting in front of me were no problem.
PEEN! PEEN!! PEEEN!!!!!! PEEEEEENN!!!

I don't know, but I wouldn't put it past some people. When I saw Wicked a few years back people were taking flash pictures during some of the songs, and I feel like Daniel's going to get entrance applause that rivals Patti's in Gypsy...which I happened to find annoying, though I might be in the minority with that.
They definitely opened up more seating because there was no center seating in the first fews rows for the days we were looking. All of sudden this week, BINGO! The first 5 center rows were available on several dates. I would love to do on-stage, but not for 111.50 unless I was on the sides and those arent being sold right now. I read a blogger who sat in the onstage seating and loved it. He said that Radcliffe turns his back to the theatre audience a fair amount and basically facing the stage seats, I am unsure if this is true.
Im actually the most thrilled to see Kate Mulgrew. I think she is divine. :)

Just make sure your cell phones are off.
We wouldn't want Richard Griffiths to stop the show like he did during HISTORY BOYS.
The side seats are being sold, they are just not the first to pop up. It takes some manipulating to get yourself the seats on the front side of the stage but it can be done. If they don't show up they are probably sold.

I posted about this earlier, having seen the original Equus with Tom Hulce in the role now being played by Daniel Radcliffe...guys, it is all-but-impossible to imagine anybody sitting up close to this play acting like a Harry Potter-crazed idiot. It is very dramatic, very impressive and really doesn't lend itself to that kind of reaction at all. I saw Spring Awakening three times while sitting on the stage and with all the young fans of that show, I never saw anyone behave inappropriately. Not to say there won't be a mob scene at the Equus stage door, I'd think that would be the certainty here....
The stage seating appears to be sold out (for now). I got a ticket on stage (having never done the on-stage seating thing before). While I like the Harry Potter movies, I want to see what else this kid can do---and Richard Griffiths is wonderful! I took the chance with the stage seating because I want to see the reactions of the parents who bought their kids tickets to see "harry Potter" on stage without researching the show....now that is going to be priceless!

Yesterday they were building the onstage seating section. You were able to see it all from the sidewalk as the doors were open. Looks like a long climb up to your seats.
A very long climb. It looked like there were 2 levels above the stage.
One would assume it'll be the same as in the West End? Then the front row is ten feet off the ground, and the second row is even further. I was in the second row; if I sat back in my seat, I saw literally nothing. If I leaned forward in my seat, I ended up in pain. Somewhere along the lines, my friend realised that if we knelt down on our coats then our knees would hurt, but it would give us the best possible visibility. But the on-stage seating visibility really is very poor. If you're not saving any money by going for it, just do yourself a favour and stick with orchestra.
A week ago the stage seats were plentiful and now they are sold out? Hard to believe not even a single stage seat even for a weekday through February. They must have pulled them.
Yeah, my guess is that they pulled them for some reason.
There's no way that all of those full priced on-stage seats have sold.
Why would they pull them? Lack of sales, or lack of view?
Lack of sales? Perhaps with people like me saying "avoid them, especially at full price", they've decided to hold them back for now, then will release them when the rest of the house sells out (if the rest of the house sells out).

No way. As fully visible seats, they wouldn't want them to be scattered with people...they'd want them fully sold-out. So either they sold-out completely OR they pulled them to review the pricing structure.
What about the seats they already sold?
ED: Evidently there are now seats available on Telecharge---just checked!
They are selling on-stage tickets for performances up until October 5th, not after. Perhaps they are trying to create demand like Spring Awakening did by only selling month to month.
This is almost criminal. The greed of the current crop of Broadway producers never ceases to amaze. Soon they will be selling oxygen for ten dollars a sniff.
