The Les Miz revival marquee was beautiful

What the Hell are you talking about? Same image? The house hasn't been dressed yet. With the exception of the two marquees which won't change, after the show opens it will be fully dressed like the Les Miz shot. That logo design is brilliant.

The London marquee was simply huge (they were refurbishing the outside of the theatre at the time)

Posted: 8/9/08 at 8:09amYes, the logo is "brilliant." But that doesn't meant they need to shove the imagine down my throat. I think It works well where it is - in the upper, higher marquee, but then, maybe do something like they did with Les Miz and just use the logo (IE: the picture of Daniel Ratcliffe, and forgo the name of the play). Sorry, I'm a visual person and I like a nice visual aesthetic, and a lot of times marquees are just overcrowded with the name of the play and aren't the prettiest things.
