What are everyone’s thoughts on whether or not Easter Bonnet collections and the show will return this year? With shows back up for the most part and money always being needed for BCEFA I’m hoping it returns- it’s always a highlight! Has anyone heard anything?
As of mid-October, BC/EFA executive director Tom Viola said that they hope to bring back the Easter Bonnet Competition on April 25 and 26, with post-show audience appeals and red buckets also returning weeks before.
I don't know what has changed regarding this statement... maybe Omicron has changed the scope of things, maybe not.
I know the Easter Bonnet Contest is not happening, but collections for the Spring begin tonight so I figured I'd revive the thread and we can post updates on each show's offerings. It's exciting to see yet another return to normalcy!

Also looking for reports of any autographed items being sold for BCEFA on Broadway or on tour.
Any reports from the weekend? I was at The Life and they collected, but no playbills or posters.

Anybody been to Company recently? Fingers crossed they have signed posters.

I walked by after Moulin Rouge as the show was about to let out and the volunteers had posters in their satchels and playbills.
Moulin Rouge on the other hand did not have anything to offer. They have the option to tap your card and donate via a mobile POS (which I did) and they had a QR code for a video of the cast thanking people for donating.
For anyone that’s seen SIX these last few days, is it just front of house holding the red buckets, or actors and crew members as well? I’m going this weekend and would love to donate. A portion of the proceeds will be going to the Ukraine (and I’m sure there’s also a BC/EFA COVID relief fund).
The Music Man has signed window cards. Got one after the matinee today (and they were selling like hotcakes).

If you can't make it to the show... or have already seen it in the past ...or will only be able to see it beyond the fundraising period... and would like to add your support --
BC/EFA has created a Special Page for online donations n behalf of the Music Man Team.

How much were the Music Man posters?
Music Man had
If anyone is in the area this week and wouldn’t mind taking note if Company is selling signed posters and the price, I’d really appreciate it!
Did Music Man have playbills? I'm actually most interested in a Company Poster if any one has info.
I went to Cursed Child last night and they didn't collect. I'm hoping they do because I'd love to get a signed poster.

Music Man sells Playbills signed by Hugh and Sutton at the merch stand, but there are no full cast signed bills for BCEFA
Thanks for the info! Do you know how much they’re selling them for?

I’m curious how much they are going for as well! Seeing it coming up in the next two weeks… also want to drop by the Hudson and see if Plaza Suite is selling signed SJ & hubby playbills. Anyone know? I won’t be officially seeing Plaza Suite till June.
David Jeffrey [Connor in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway] posted on his Instastory signing a playbill and indicated it was for Broadway Cares so I assume Evan Hansen has or will be starting soon.
Company had a lot of signed posters and playbills but wouldn’t sell if you didn’t see the show

Do you recall the price for the posters?
Also, not selling if you didn’t see the show is utterly ridiculous. Sorry I saw it in London back in 2019 and on Broadway in December and February and would now like a signed souvenir AND to support BCEFA. Barf.
Keri René Fuller delivered the BC/EFA speech over at SIX last night. No signed posters.
How much are the fecking Company posters? ![]()
I’m told by someone who saw Company yesterday -
posters $100
