That is AMAZING!
Rosie is either the head producer or one of the producers of the show.

Posted: 10/31/07 at 5:06amI couldn’t agree with you more Wanna Be A Foster!!! Nothing about the character was even vaguely reminiscent of Elaine Stritch it was just gratingly annoying shouting. As a side note I find the Big Gay Sketch show more offensive than funny. It plays up and makes fun of gay stereotypes. It’s the kind of low brow humor I would expect a from high school football team making fun of the gay students. Granted this particular clip is not what I would expect from a football player, as I doubt any of them would know who Elaine Stritch is, but it does inaccurately mock her in the same fashion that the show regularly mocks gay people in general.

Posted: 10/31/07 at 6:36ami'd heard about the big gay sketch show and been intrigued, this was the first thing i've seen from it and i think it will be the last. Terrible! not offensive just bad!

Posted: 10/31/07 at 6:52amThis clip wasn’t offensive. I was talking about the show in general. If you watch some of their other stuff you’ll see what I’m talking about. Most of it is offensive, and all of it is bad!!!!

not funny.
blah.

Posted: 11/2/07 at 12:45amWhat's more offensive about The Big Gay Sketch Show is how cheap the production values are. I swear to god they shoot that show in a parking garage. All those gays and no decent set decorator...come on!

I just found out Elaine will guest star in a skit next season!
Jonny Mcgovern mentioned it on his Podcast.
In the podcast he says:
(Elaine) was exactly how you might have thought.
The night after the taping, she was really ON.
"Well can we get you anything Miss. Stritch?"
"Yeah, You can get the F*CK out of my room!" WINK.
and then one of the PA's said.
[Sassy but classy?]
Mean and evil, yet fun, is more like it.
(Elaine) leaving was the most glamorous thing ever!
The same kid she said, "get the F*CK out of my room" to, as he was taking her to her car she grabbed his hand and said,
"Kid, you've all been wonderful - and if you ever need me, you know where to find me. The Carlyle."
Jonny also mentioned next season Chritine Ebersole will guest star as Little Edie.
-Adam Shankman.
"I haven't left this building since Windows 3.1!"
"Celebrating a birthday this week: Rene Descartes is 412! Do you know who he is? Then why are you watching this show? You could probably get into college and even get one of those job things. As for the rest of us; Amanda Bynes is 22! Yay!"
