I am curious, has any body had box seats at a theatre that they have enjoyed? If so, which theatre and which show?
I saw Kinky Boots at the Hirschfeld twice in the boxes, and loved the view.
I also saw Kinky Boots from the boxes and thought the view was great.
Given the "which show" part of your question, I'm assuming you're also asking about past productions but if not, just disregard this. I saw The Cripple of Inishmaan from the back of a box at the Cort, and I had a terrific view that was not at all obstructed. That's the only box seat I've ever liked.
On Broadway I do enjoy the boxes at the O'Neill, but best from the frontmost seat in either of the frontmost boxes.
Outside NYC, the boxes at the Curran in San Francisco have been pretty great for everything I've seen from there (which might only be Les Miz!). Also the Prince of Wales in London for Mormon.

The best box experience I had was at the Cort.
Sat there for A Fish in the Dark, loved the view. Also sat in the boxes twenty years earlier for The Heiress.
I personally love box seats in general. I find that it's usually a good view while still feeling intimate. I've sat in the boxes at these shows:
-The Real Thing (American Airlines)
-The Color Purple (Jacobs)
-It Shoulda Been You (Brooks Atkinson)
-The Best Man (Schoenfeld)
-You Can't Take it With You (Longacre)
-One Man, Two Guvnors (Music Box)
-Shuffle Along (Music Box)
-All The Way (Neil Simon)
-Annie (Palace)
-Aladdin (New Amsterdam)
And I've almost always enjoyed the view.

Front lower box seat for Color Purple recently was excellent and missed nothing. So close and on top of the stage. It's awesome.

I had the box at the Broadway Theatre for Fiddler and the view was great! I didn't miss a thing.
The Imperial Theatre boxes during THE BOY FROM OZ's run. It was the perfect viewpoint to see the audience especially the people Hugh Jackman was interacting with during those moments in the show. He basically was at the lip of the stage during the entire show so nothing was obstructed or partial view at any given time.
The only negative experience I had with box seats was for Phantom at the Majestic. It was EXTREME partial view.
Avoid the box seats at the Walter Kerr. You will only see half the show.
I had a terrible experience with the boxes at Kinky Boots (Hirschfeld). Unless you're in the front, you won't see much. I was in the fourth row, on the inside, and I could not see anything.

Favorite boxes are at the Al Hirschfeld. Saw KB twice from there, first and second row seats on the railing and missed nothing! Though, people who have the unfortunate luck of getting the third seats in the 3rd and 4th ish rows might not feel the same. - though, you have to appreciate the different seat heights they give.
I rather liked my Box D seats for Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers. I don't remember complaining about the House Left box seats at the St. James for American Idiot.
