Too bad it's at 3:15AM.

Morning shows don't get the great commentary by Osbourne or Mankiewicz.

Well, I haven't paid attention, but does Mankiewicz talk about all the shows on the weekends, or just the PM ones?

Just Tivo'd it this morning when I was scanning movies to record. I saw the Broadway show so many years ago with Anthony Hopkins and Peter Firth - first time seeing them ever. I remember being overwhelmed. Roberta Maxwell was Jenny and I used to think I really wanted her career. Haven't seen the movie in many years. I wonder if it will seem dated.

Is that anything like Equis? I saw Richard Burton in Equis and liked it very much. I think I'll start a thread about it.

I have never watched TCM, and in the past week or two, I've gotten to watch fantastic films.

Vertigo
Roman Holiday
Funny Girl
Tootsie

Please learn the spelling it is EQUUS with Richard Burton. No it is not dated. I have the DVD and it is excellent.

One question is how they will handle the necessary nudity. It is not toned down in the film. Perhaps this is why it is being shown at a time many will not watch it.

TCM has a great policy of airing movies unedited and uncut.

I can't see them cutting or fuzzing out the nudity.

verynewyorkcurious: This is a great month to watch TCM! It's 31 Days of Oscar! Unfortunately, you need Tivo or some other recording device to catch all the goodies.

Its cut on AMC anyway, regardless of commercials.

Also, AMC usually airs the full screen versions, which TCM tries not to do, unless its the only version available.

Thanks, LePetiteFromage.

I just set my DVR to record Jerry Mcguire tonight. I never watched Jerry Mcguire to its entirety..and Some Like It Hot on Wednesday.
