I wish I could claim credit for this, but I found it on another site, and thought you folks would appreciate it.
1. Kate Mulgrew is Janeway.
2. Daniel Radcliffe is dangly.
3. Horses are actors.
4. Anna Camp has no pubic hairs.
5. Richard Griffiths has too many years.
IDK if anyone will find this funny, but I think it about sums the play up.
Hilarious? Really? Didn't even find it amusing.
Not funny.
I didn't think it was funny at all.
I fourth the not funny.
Not funny at all.
It seems apparent that your sense of humor is a bit different than the rest.
I didn't find it funny either.
nope not funny and certainly not hilarious

So do people find Equus amusing because there is a penis?
oh my gosh... someone is naked in EQUUS?
Pathetic - and definitely not hilarious

I don't get it. Why is that funny? Did I miss something?
It would be funnier in haiku form.

Or as a limerick. Limericks can make anything funny!
I'm so glad it wasn't me. I was afraid to check out this thread to see I was the only one that didn't "get it".
Did somebody watch a video of the play on mute at 4:20? That is the only way I could imagine that post could be found remotely humorous.
There was a young actor called Daniel
Who wished to show what he could handle
He blinded a horse
Then stripped down (of course)
And to him no one could hold a candle!
..... hey, at least I tried! :-P
I wish I could claim credit for this
You do?

For the haiku fanatics out there:
H. Potter's naked
In the Broadway show "Equus"
Ha ha let's make jokes
Comeon you people, lighten up. Think back. Wouldn't we have all thought it was funny when we were maybe 11 or 12? Just the mention of pubic hairs alone would cause a good giggle or two.

I still laugh when people say "poop" and I didn't find this funny...

Thanks to you, Cyco, NOW I'm laughing.
There's this horrendous, juvenile, idiotic youtube video called "Ode To Poop" that includes the phrases, "Hello, welcome to Todd's Poop Barn, how may I poop on you today?" and "Agh! I shimmied in poop! Agh! I pooped in poop."
It is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. And yet it made me laugh hysterically. I think I have the brain of a five-year-old
What? I don't even get it in non-funny terms.
