With the players parking lot located behind walls at the new Yankee stadium, you can't even begin to hope to get near the players for an autograph today. Sad really.

Actually, it was a security guard who told him to 'get a life' and she also threatened to call the cops next time she saw him.

Well then, it certainly sounds like there is more to the story than just being "into" theater and stage dooring.
I'm assuming this was a security guard AT a stage door? They don't go around randomly insulting the patrons.

"Get a Life" usually means "Get a Life Like Mine...one that I can understand." I could say the same thing about Twilight fans...I don't get it and never will...although I doubt I would be so blunt...diversity and variety are the spice of life. Anyone who says this to a "theatre" person is just secretly wishing they had the bollocks to be one too.

OH, please. They are SECRETLY wishing to be us because theater people are so much BETTER than "Twilight" people? Or Yankees Fans? Are we that exclusive that we would keep someone from BECOMING a theater person??
If EVERYONE were a theater person, I'd never get good or discounted seats.

Since a SECURITY GUARD said it (presumably AT the Stage Door) then this is not simply a theater person. There is waaay more to the story than the OP has let on.
