Looking for marriage proposal duet

The Proposal from Titanic.
Turn a MOVIE into a MUSICAL and CAST it!

Andrew Lloyd Webber should write the Baby Jane musical with Close and Lupone...talk about a sell-out...if they lived through it!
Parade Question

Is this from the same people that did the all-white Hairspray?
Billy Ray Cyrus as Billy Flynn in Chicago

This may finally close the show.
Looks like Rob Marshall's INTO THE WOODS Film Is Gonna Happen Sooner Rather

Plimpton is inspired. I would think Benjamin Walker might be a good choice in several roles.
Who could tackle Professor Harold Hill?

I think any high school f-baller could tackle him. He seems a bit of a wimp.

My B--Jill Paice will star as I in REBECCA

There was nothing remotely exciting about her performance in Company.
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR to Play Final Performance on Broadway July 1 'Unless Business Improves'

Or the productions were just bad.
It's time for Matthew Broderick...

I'm sorry I thought he was supposed to be dead and they were pulling some kind of Weekend at Bernie's bit...well then he just sucked!
Anyone see Danny Boyle's Frankenstein at the movies? Worth it?

Saw it with Cumberpatch as the Creature and he was incredible. I don't think I took a breath for the first ten minutes. So glad to see others agree about the supporting cast...they just weren't in the same universe as the leads. Not even close. Would love to see the other version, but this will linger in my mind for years to come.
Denis O'Hare to Play The Baker in Public Theater's INTO THE WOODS!

Trade the beans for Viagra.

Which cast recordings could you only listen to once?

My Favorite Year...after a glorious opening number it dies more deaths than the cast of Titanic.

Helen Keller...the Musical?

I wouldn't spend any money on a cast recording.

Horror/Sci Fi/Generally Dark Musicals?

There's a Lizzie Borden musical and several Jack the Ripper musicals.

My, that sounds familiar

Every time I hear the intro to "Seize the Day" I want sing "Follow the Fold" from Guys and Dolls.
Shows that have been released on DVD

Pippin with Ben Vereen, William Katt and Martha Raye
Two versions of Sweeney...concert and the Hearn/Lansbury production
Tintypes (technically a revue)

Who here knows 'Rumors' by Neil Simon?

I've directed the play twice and while Lenny is the "bigger" part (line-wise) and he does have that wonderful monologue at the end, Ken usually steals the show. He's less acerbic than Lenny and the scene where he loses his hearing and Chris is scratching uncontrollably is just damn hilarious. It's a fun play from beginning to end.
King Kong to come to Broadway?????

Would love to hear a song about "Red Hot Monkey Lovin" or "Gorilla My Dreams."
Phantom of the Opera view

If you're too high up the curtain in the Masquerade scene blocks the Phantom's entrance.
LEAP OF FAITH Previews

I think the laughing reference was to the word "actress." I almost choked on that myself.
