Bring back Renee as Mimi but have the original cast members appear as the parents, even though Renee is the same age as most of the original cast?

Not even for a while, just cut it out completely. We already have a film version in which almost everyone is (and more importantly looks) way too old for their roles, there is no reason to insist on more of the same. The screen is not as forgiving as the stage. Age matters more here. If you are going to insist on dream casting this until it airs, why not think like a director rather than a fanboy?
