Mic check, one two three…
Yo - I know Broadway’s reopening’s been kinda extreme
But now it’s time to make way for Freestyle Love Supreme
Before Hamilton and before In the Heights
Came an improv group that will wow you for a night
They’re back at the Booth for a limited run
And you’ll want to see it now before they are done
Previews start tomorrow ‘fore a 19th openin’
No COVID cancellations? Y’all better be hopin’
Created by Lin-Man, Tommy Kail at the wheel
90 minutes of good fun, and before fit in a good meal
You only have until January 2nd
Consider this my invitation, so now I beckon you
And just one more thing before I get outta sight
I’m asking you all, WHO’S IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT?
This might've been discussed in other threads- but are they doing the same Yondr pouches for phones/electronics they did back in the original run? I can't imagine it'd be super COVID safe, and though I know I hate people who film/distract during shows just as much as anyone else, I still think I'm a bit too stubborn to want to give up Playbill curtain pics haha. I remember this being a hot topic back during the original run...
I saw online that they actually encouraged people to take pics and film at the end of the show, now. Guess they figured the free publicity of that right now outweighs the Yonder pouch thing.
Was anyone at the Booth tonight?
I won the lotto for tomorrow but holy moly is the process to buy tickets. There is something wrong with the website and it won’t let me purchase them. Currently on hold with Telecharge.. I hate the Telecharge website so damn much.

I also had a problem when I tried buying my lottery ticket yesterday. The website works if you go into your browser's settings and tell it to allow cookies for that website.

Hi all,
We won the Lottery for tomorrow 10/9 @ 9:00.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) we also unexpectedly won SIX for 10/9 @8:00.
As we have already seen FLS, have decided to see SIX instead. While we could certainly run around the corner and just miss the first 20 minutes of FLS given SIX short run time, figured we would see if anyone would be interested in our FLS tickets.
They are second row orchestra and provided in telecharge pdf. Just looking for what we paid for them which is $29 × 2 = $58.
Other option would be seeing if the box office would be accommodating enough to switch our tickets to the 5:00 show.
Hate to sell lottery tickets as I know thats never the intent, but also don't want to be in conflict and would rather they go to a good home at cost.

I tried on multiple devices and enabled cookies. I’m glad it worked for you though!! The people at Telecharge were very helpful. There were others that were having issues as well, so I was on hold around 50 minutes. Hope they get this all sorted out!
Went to the 5pm show today. I had low expectations and honestly wouldn’t have seen this had it not been for the lotto win and my partner and I both had a blast!! The stuff they do on that stage is pure magic. Chris Jackson had a very moving moment that moved Lin especially. I would gladly go back.

Was at the 9pm show on Saturday after getting lottery tickets (D 11 and 13 in orchestra, right up against the wall but we didn't miss anything). I'm assuming it was just because it was the first weekend since I think they usually only have 1 or 2 special guests, but we had 4 in addition to the 4 that start the show. Tarik Davis had quite a touching moment when he freestyled about how it was his first time being on Broadway and what that meant to him as a black actor, which led to a group hug on stage and a standing ovation. The show's still a great ball of fun, and instead of submitting words into the buckets onstage, you can scan a QR code from the program to send in words you want them to use.
I have to believe that Wayne Brady will be jumping in as a guest soon since he appeared with the show during the Tony Awards.
Wayne Brady was there on reopening night.
