FROZEN Replacement Contracts/Scheduled Absences

I was wondering if anyone knows when principles in Frozen’s contracts end? I want to catch Caissie Levy and Jelani Aladdin in the show before they leave but don’t want to buy tickets only to find out they won’t be there. Thanks!

I think that it's safe to assume Caissie and Jelani (as well as other cast members) are contracted for at least the first year of the show's run. I also noticed a trend with cast members in Disney shows staying well past their one year anniversary with the show - Courtney Reed (Jasmine) was in Aladdin for 4 years and even after she left the Broadway company she did a few shows with the tour.

don't message me thinking im taylor trensch?? what would he be doing on bww?? you can't possibly be that dumb bye

I remmber reading that Caissie’s contract is one year, and that she was open to extending. Not sure if the one year term begins from previews or opening.

In terms of this week, Elsa is being covered by understudy Ashley Blanchet during today’s matinee, with standby Alyssa Fox covering the rest of the shows this week.

Maybe it's not always the case, but Colorado and Broadway were separate contracts. Granted there were VERY few, if any, cast changes between Colorado and Broadway, but they were very much not contracted together.

Broadway run is always a separate contract.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

She already took her summer vacation and was out every show last week. I can get more detailed if you need I've kept a pretty good record of when Alyssa Fox/Ashley Blanchet went on.

I saw both Alyssa and Aisha last Tues. It is crazy that Caissie was out the entire week of Patti's vacation. Very disappointing, as she was also out when I saw Ghost.

I’m listening. I’ve seen the rumor of Christy leaving in March a few times now..

I've actually also heard some rumblings of this... I think that makes sense, Anastasia certainly isn't doing well and could potentially close in March?

Read that. Plus her auction has to be used by the end of Feb. Similar to RBJ of DEH. Her auction ended her last weekend. I’m still convinced Cody Simpson is coming in to try to safe the show.
