Wow the producers know how to get theater geeks back to the show. But they aren't dragging me in. I love Heidi and Faith but I'm not seeing this horrendous show again.

Another reason not to see this show. I have always been underwhelmed with Prince's performances. She was bored to death as she played the usually campy Belle in Little Me, and seemed totally flatline in Belles Are Ringing. I'm done with her.

This is very cool casting-- I never would've thought of Faith Prince for the role!

I personally still wish Emily Skinner could've played Ursula, but I heard she didn't like working with Disney.

If I had the time I would go see this, but between The Norman Conquest, WSS, and 9 to 5 on my list of shows I need to see ontop of already having tickets to see Happiness, Godot, Shrek and Blithe Spirit, I can't justify not going to one of these shows in place of Little Mermaid.

I'm not understanding how Faith would be similar to the movie Ursula. The movie Ursula has a very low, sultry and husky voice and Faith has a very nasally high pitched character voice. Perfect for Adelaide, but in no way similar to Pat Carroll.

Definitely fantastic casting! I'm excited to see how she takes up this role...

And Schmerg- Emily Skinner actually played Ursula in the demp cast recording... (but you already knew that.)
But anywho, she has been staying away from Disney since (I think) when she was in On The Record and she was upstaged constantly by Ashley Brown... Not sure on that one, but that's what I've heard on the subject. And it's sad too, because this role is perfect for her!
