Jeff Fenholt in Jesus Christ Superstar, pretty much any of his entrances that involved a fantastic costume

Have to second Joanna Lumley's entrance in La Bete. Also loved the entrance of the warlord at the end of The Book of Mormon, as well as Lansbury's initial entrance in the original Sweeney Todd, at least in the video.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I loved the way the Seabees and Bloody Mary entered in the South Pacific revival.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Of all-time? Not even a question. It's definitely Peter Pan. The way the lights dim, Tinkerbell enters and flies around, then the orchestra swells, the windows to the Darling nursery fly open, and in flies Peter, pixie dust and all. Nothing else has really come close.

I second the adult Joey in War Horse.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

The Mad Hatter's entrance in WONDERLAND, complete with the awkward villain entrance applause for Kate Shindle every time.

Even though the show was horrible... Marius's entrance in Lestat was unbelievable. The best entrance ever!

Sutton Foster in Anything Goes. I love how she just struts onstage and says, "It was only me, Billy."

Not sure if this post is meant for entrances in terms of staging/performance, or the writing of a character's introduction --- In terms of overall best entrances I've ever seen:
- PETER PAN is the best (agree with all others here)
- Joanna Lumley in LA BETE
- Sherie Rene Scott in AIDA --- No one has mentioned this one... But I just LOVED how she was a statue in the museum and then just started singing. Magical.
- Any Velma in CHICAGO - Show biz at its best.
- Sherie Rene Scott in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS - agree with above post that there was just a mess of bad staging and then she made you know where to look immediately, and was stunning.
- Kelli O'Hara in LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA - beautiful with the lush orchestration of the overture, and the leaves blowing, etc.
- All 9 Scottsboro Boys running down the aisle, but I think this was only exciting to me because I saw its last week, and the audience was going crazy for them the second they came in the theater -- I was literally in tears right when I heard the support from the audience.... I don't really think it is any kind of unique entrance, it was just that moment in time with the audience and the emotion in the theater.

The Phantom and the mirror - who could forget?
I also enjoy Krolock's entrance in Tanz. Not just striding down the aisle, but half a song with his back to the audience and the great shadow-play of his hands on the curtain...
Also, der Tod in Elisabeth. "His Majesty - Death!" Lucheni shouts, and he sweeps down into the underworld on his everpresent ramp... I was particularly fond of the 2002 Essen staging.

The child catchers first entrance in Chitty, appearing as if from nowhere after a very brief electrical surge, and his second on his horse and cage... gave me goosebumps every time !

Wizard of oz London Palladium- The witches entrance from the roof of the theatre
Electra =from Starlight Express
All of the lady of the lakes entrances- Spamalot
Felicia in Priscilla x

Probably when the guitar begins to strum as the iconic Spider-Man kneels under a swaying New York City. The entire stage deck rises, he soars across the sky scrapers for the first time, into the lap of the first row. Brilliant moment.
Oh, and Harvey's Zaza entrance.
I did love Shrek's. Thought it was massively creative.
Man In Chair.
And of course, Elle Woods. Lovely.

"Madam Rose...and her daughter...Gypsy!"
