I know we had a thread on this a while back, but I can't seem to find it. So what are some of your favorite stage entrances?
I think mine may well be Mrs. Wilkinson.
I love entrances and entrance applause.
Rose, Desiree, Sally (at least in the current revival)...
I still think Peter Pan gets the best entrance ever.
Glinda's entrance in The Wizard Of Oz (London Palladium) is pretty spectacular.
Forgot to mention:
Lee - Jerusalem
Rooster - Jerusalem
Callas - Master Class
I'm a big fan of Lucky and Pozzo's entrance in Waiting for Godot.
Felicia's in Priscilla, Velma Kelly's in Chicago, and Elder Cunningham in BoM.
I second Bernadette and also her entrance before Losing My Mind. Loved Daniel Radcliffe's entrance in How to Succeed.
I must say the classic Norma Desmond entrance is pretty spectacular, with her coming down the staircase, saying "You there, why are you so late?" I was drawn in when I saw it.
I also loved Desiree's entrance (both actresses) in the revival of Night Music.
And I love, love, love Mrs. Wilkinson.

Carol Channing's 'hidden' entrance in HELLO, DOLLY!
Norma Desmond's in SUNSET BLVD.
All the principal's in WOMEN ON THE VERGE (they run on separately during the "Madrid" number)
Mary Poppins' in MARY POPPINS
Didn't see these mentioned yet...
St. Jimmy in American Idiot (what a thrill when BJA was in the cast)
Fiona in Shrek
Roger De Bris in The Producers
Roger De Bris as Hitler in The Producers.
Joanna Lumley's entrance was the best part of the recent revival of LA BETE.

Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit
Norma in Sunset Boulevard
Rose in Gypsy
Mary in Mary Poppins
It's been so long since I saw Mary Poppins. Her first entrance is up through the floor, right?
I looooooooooooooove the transformation of Joe Boyd into Joe Hardy in DAMN YANKEES, in what is effectively Young Joe's entrance.
Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! Your attention is everywhere but on her and then she just appears.
Cervantes in Man of La Mancha if coming down a stair from above the stage.
Tovah Feldshuh has a great entrance...
Bernadette Peters's entrance in Follies, and Tyne Daly's in Master Class.
She told me I didn't have a look, so it holds a soft spot in my heart.
