I love entrances and entrance applause.
Rose, Desiree, Sally (at least in the current revival)...

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

I'm a big fan of Lucky and Pozzo's entrance in Waiting for Godot.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I second Bernadette and also her entrance before Losing My Mind. Loved Daniel Radcliffe's entrance in How to Succeed.

I must say the classic Norma Desmond entrance is pretty spectacular, with her coming down the staircase, saying "You there, why are you so late?" I was drawn in when I saw it.
I also loved Desiree's entrance (both actresses) in the revival of Night Music.
And I love, love, love Mrs. Wilkinson.

Carol Channing's 'hidden' entrance in HELLO, DOLLY!
Norma Desmond's in SUNSET BLVD.
All the principal's in WOMEN ON THE VERGE (they run on separately during the "Madrid" number)
Mary Poppins' in MARY POPPINS

Joanna Lumley's entrance was the best part of the recent revival of LA BETE.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

I looooooooooooooove the transformation of Joe Boyd into Joe Hardy in DAMN YANKEES, in what is effectively Young Joe's entrance.
