First Preview:
The Woman in White(05)-Awful show, hated it except for the beautiful lighting & scenery
Mary Poppins(06)-Great, set broke down though
Legally Blonde(07)-Great, set broke down in Paulette's shop, causing the set to slowly creep closer & closer to their actual places on stage. This caused Laura Bell to stop & say, "Paulette, what a magical shop you have!"
Little Mermaid(07)-Great, but better now with both towers
Closing Nights:
Little Shop of Horrors(04)- Great, favorite ad lib being when Rob bartlett let Seymor & Audrey's kiss after Suddenly Seymor last for about 5 minutes, causing them to start jumping up & down & doing the funniest things i've ever seen on stage.
La Cage(05)- Great show, why did it close?
Drowsy Chaperone(07)- Favorite parts include the laughs for each joke lasting about 2 minutes each, plus Bob's molonlogue at the end, very touching with a double meaning that night. Plus, the best was everyone clapping & wanting him to play the album again.

First preview In the Heights
And closing night of the Les Miserables revival and Drowsy. The moment where Martin and Saget were staring at each other for a second is a moment that I will never forget. Seeing the two Man In Chairs from beginning to end right then and there. Oh, what a night to remember.

1st preview of "High Fidelity" in Boston, as well as the closing performance in Boston. That means I was one of the first people to see that unfortunate theatrical experience.

First preview: The Apple Tree (2007).
Closing night: Steel Magnolias (2005). It was also an Actors' Fund benefit performance.
I didn't plan to attend the first preview/closing night performances; they just happened to fit my schedule best.

I've been to several first previews to either see if the show is any good or to see if the show is as bad as the buzz says it is. I have not been to an opening night, unfortunately.
I've been a few closings, the best of which was Grey Gardens last summer. One of the top three most thrilling theatrical experiences I have ever had in my life. I was very glad to be there.
