So much depends on what happens this summer with Pretty Woman. By this point I really don't think adding in that song will have any noticeable impact on their sales. They certainly aren't paying back their investment at the same rate, if at all, as they would have been during their high peak before the first of the year.
My prediction is that they will see a further drop in their weekly grosses once Moulin Rouge opens, as that's going to take the place as the new "date night" musical for many.

I don't know how that helps the show at all unless it's being accompanied by a robust TV campaign using the song? And even then, it might not translate to $$.
The 2019 average gross is down by $300k+ from 2018, but I'm surprised it hasn't taken a bigger dip since the Tony noms, mainly because of Tootsie and Beetlejuice. Like Waitress, it may have cracked the secret to appealing to the most important theatergoing demo: women over 50. Operating cost has to be around $600k or above, so they've got to work to stay afloat.
