Trying to squeeze in a few straight plays during a trip full of musicals. As far straight plays I'm seeing Race and Our Town.

Deciding between Freud's Last Session and Lend Me a Tenor for the last one play. Have any input?

TENOR all the way.

I didn't like Tenor. So I don't recommend it. Sorry!

I actually agree with Muscle on this one. Thought TENOR was very boring and lifeless. But I also have no idea what FREUD'S LAST SESSION is. I'll still recommend it over TENOR, although the audience I saw it with ate it up.

Lend Me a Tenor without a doubt.

Freud's Last Session is good, but the play itself is very intellectual and talky. As such you could just read it at home and get basically the same effect.

The farce of Tenor doesn't come across on the page at all, which is why you should see it instead.

TENOR!! Why?

-Seeing the plays you have listed, a purely comical farce will counterbalance them.

-The cast is hilarious and you'll enjoy being doubled over in laughter for 2 and a half hours.

-You may also find great seats on discount...Mine were discount and they were front row on the aisle.

I'm biased because I haven't seen Tenor and I also play Freud!
But our show is funny, NOT too intellectual, and nicely thought provoking.
It is pretty much sold out, but if you get in, come meet us after the show!

You'll be seeing me at Freud's Last Session very soon. Was able to snag two tickets. Very hard to pass up. Very excited. Been intrigued ever since I heard it was transferring off broadway.

Might still catch Lend Me a Tenor!

...but now the question is LEND ME A TENOR or RACE?

Great! Be sure to say hello after the show:)
Takes me 10-15 to get out of make-up.

Apples and oranges really. But each to his own. Be a bit boring if everyone felt the same:)
