How can it be a good musical adaptation if the score sucked? (Not my judgement, mind you.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Probably a good stage adaptation... the pop/rock score seemed a tad bit forced, in my opinion. I felt a more traditional musical theatre score would've been more intimate and appropriate. From what I have heard, including a friends that saw it recently, the special ghost effects, and lighting were great. It will probably do better on tour with its well-known source material.

I might be the only one to say this but I really enjoyed this!
and I really do like most of the score! Its always calming and and nice to listen
Ive always been a huge fan of the movie and was so excited to see it
I thought it held its own on stage even though I was a little disappointed by the effects that were supposed to be so great
But I will def miss this show!

Thanks, Shane54. I watched the GHOST Tony Awards performance two or three times because I keep hearing Richard Fleeshman sing "I had 'tuh' life" and it sounds like "to".

So sad. And also, if you listen to the cast recording a couple times you get accustomed to the songs and they really get better everytime you listen to them
