Honey - nobody thought the musical ANNIE was a good idea when it was announced. It seemed as ridiculous as a musical based on a television show. It was a musical based on a COMIC STRIP that had recently been pulled from the papers because nobody read it anymore.

Hindsight is 20/20.

This sounds like a real bomb! I love the silly show, but I dont see this coming across as a musical on Broadway........
