Honey - nobody thought the musical ANNIE was a good idea when it was announced. It seemed as ridiculous as a musical based on a television show. It was a musical based on a COMIC STRIP that had recently been pulled from the papers because nobody read it anymore.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Will it make it to the Paper Mill Playhouse? Should Sondheim abandon Bunuel for this baby? The announcement is as empty as the project.
