That's right kids.
Bye bye
Probably for the best.
It should have ended before it even started.
Nah, it should have ended in season 3. When I actually liked to watch it.
Not that I wish for it to fail because I don't like it anymore, but I wonder what would happen if it really started tanking in the ratings during this season. I've seen other shows that they were going to cancel get some episodes taken away because of that. Ugly Betty comes to mind.
Murphy's comments remind me of "You can't fire me! I was always going to just quit!"
I bet the finale will be Rachel winning a Tony for Funny Girl, and she will dedicate it to Finn. Calling it now. It's as close to a Tony as Lea Michele will ever get.
Thank Jebus, no more badly written homos from Murphy
^ WORD. As a 21 year gay male, I find Kurt's character to be an offensive stereotype. The stereotype is heightened by Colfer's godawful performance.
Glee ended for me when they did Rocky Horror.
Glee ended for me when they did Rocky Horror.
"Let's be edgy by having a girl play a man who, as a sweet transvestite, dresses as a woman! And have Mr. Why-Am-I-So-Oppressed Kurt be fine with that!"
Going back to an earlier thread, does this mean Jordan won?

Jordan BEAT Lea Michele. Over the head. With her fake Tony. I was his accomplice.
It's a shame. The show started out as being a great way to introduce and showcase musical theater but Murphy just couldn't keep his "Murphy-ness" off of it and it spiraled into what pretty much all of his shows spiral to - nothing. Besides what people might think of certain cast members, this show will always be one of those "what could have been" shows that never was.
What Jordan means is that is became too sophisticated and deep for mass appeal, obviously. Every line had layers of subtextual meaning. Every plot point a rapier-sharp critique of society. Every themed episode and last-on-the-bandwagon appropriation of memetic hits a chance to sell singles- but as a way to broaden minds and explore rich themes.
^ Dripping rich with sarcasm that you can spread it on toast and eat it.
What does sarcasm taste like I wonder?
Last spring, FOX renewed it for two seasons and from what I recall, that was going to be the end of the show. I guess Ryan is making it “official,” is that why it's news again?
It was a good show UNTIL they graduated. Then they added all these new cast members to keep the show going (while keeping the originals still in the show) and it sucked with story lines being very unrealistic. Only part I find interesting is the broadway story of Rachael character
"is that why it's news again?"
LOL, I was thinking the same thing. Not sure I would call this "BREAKING" news. It basically had already been announced a few months ago.
That is great news!
how is it that GLEE is so lets say uneven. and American Horror so amazing?
