So you think free speech should be limited and you think that people getting screwed by their bosses should pipe down and take it as long as they're making 'enough'. I hope you appreciate how much that says about you.
EDIT: I hate the Phelps family, too. But I'd never tell them they have no right to speak. I would go to where they are and speak just as loudly.

Well, legally speaking I do believe it was ruled by the courts that THEY DON'T have a legal right to speak what they speak, as it goes beyond someone having an opinion on something and moves onto hateful bigotry. They were told they couldn't be within so many feet of the funeral they were holding anti-gay signs at and what does the ACLU do...says that's wrong and defends them harassing the members of the family of the person who died! Give me a break...

Well, as much as I recognize that threads do often go on tangents, we're discussing the reason that the Golden Globes were cancelled. If we didn't discuss this, where would the thread go? like this? "The show was cancelled" "oh well, I wanted to watch it". "yeah" "Oh, I didn't-they stink.", etc.
But I liked your post, Lizzie, cute! I'm admiring your graphic skills!
I didn't make it; I only found it on FARK.

Yeah, sorry about that. Man, that guy was honkin' me off.
So no more about free speech or the ACLU. But plenty on the WGA, since that's appropriate, as Jane pointed out.
Dateline is putting together a special prior to the Golden Globes "press conference" on Sunday night. Nikki Blonsky will be one of the guests on Dateline. Thought I would post it here.
I'm still super sad that a bunch of shows probably either won't return at all (Bionic Woman) or will return with fewer cast members (ER, Soap Operas). I believe actors were put on 'suspension' a while back and can only be suspended for 5 weeks before their contracts are considered void and they can look for work elsewhere. Katherine Heigl is probably overjoyed and will be leaving GREYS as soon as possible.
