Awwww, so sad that it's closing today. I had a fantastic time when I saw it. So, so, so funny.

Congratulations to all involved on a fantastic run! Truly, how often in this day and age can a commercial Off-Broadway play without stars maintain a healthy run for nine months?

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

So true
It could have gone much longer as well, it was just too many of the cast members (inc Charles) have other things they have to move on too

Come back soon, Charles. But you're such a unique playwrite, I know you will. Looking forward to your next play. Congratulations on a good run.

Went back on Thursday night to see it one final time. Alison Fraser's replacement was stealing the show and giving everyone a run for their money.

I hope Charles writes another show for himself soon! This is what he does best!

And Busch and Halston both got Drama Desk noms this week. Congratulations!

Even though I've seen this production twice, I was so sorry it had to close. Seriously, THE DIVINE SISTER was one of the funniest plays I've ever seen. I also enjoyed Julie Halstons blog and was thrilled when she read my contest ballot on air, although I didn't win the free tickets. Definitly a major highlight of my theatrical year.
