Total crap. High schoolers I know could make a better looking poster on Photoshop. Don't think I'm kidding.
Anyone else excited to see what Roundabout will do for the Sunday poster?

Max and Laura are both adorable, but that poster really isn't a good picture of them. I wish they had used this photo instead, with the taxi and everything, and skipped the teeny-bopper photoshopping and cartoon lettering. Especially since all those involved say it's supposed to be a fresh, new vision of GREASE.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 10:30amI just hope Max used the rehearsal time to gain some sort of muscle, I mean I know it's his interpretation of the role, but Danny needs to have a little more meat than what he showed during the show.

Yup. Totally cheap and boring. Looks like a high school production, not a major Broadway revival.
The photo looks like they took it inside a photo booth in a New Jersey mall.
The color and lettering and slogan came right out of the mind of a 12 year old.

Don't undermine 12 year olds, I know a few who could take that window card, put it on photoshop, and come out with a result ten times better.
The color scheme reminds me of the colors of the hard candy you always want to avoid...

Posted: 7/17/07 at 10:52amThe windowcard is terrible. And the whole "the one that you want," is so unbelievably pretentious.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 11:10amIs this show still set in the 50's? Because those hair styles say something else.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 11:36amIt does look like a really bad high school production. Hopefully it is a work in progress.

Posted: 7/17/07 at 1:04pmI agree the windowcards arent great from a design or technical standpoint, but if I were a teen I would snatch one up and get both of their signatures. The window cards will sell well with the kids who are seeing the show and kids will love to have those posted in their rooms.
