She actually is blonde naturally. She just dyes her hair red now.

Bleh. Let's just avoid the episode where Mehredith goes to therapy and addresses her very obvious Father Issues. Because that's not fun. I guess ABC thinks that it's much more entertaining to have some damaged, broken woman screwing her brains out while numbing herself with booze and getting involved with married men while hurting various other guys in her journey of "self-discovery."
And, yeah, I get it. You can't choose who you fall in love with. I.Get.It. But you can choose to recognize the patterns in your life, acknowledge that they take you down the same road every time and choose to change those patterns by being accountable.
Here's my main reason for despising Meredith. I have no problem with real or fictional TV women who engage in casual sex. But when they do it in a response to being blown off, not "chosen" or as some other escape then I view that as a sign or major issues. Those issues mostly having to do with self-esteem and self-confidence. Yet, she's the "heroine" of this series.
As soon as the introduced the fact that Meredith frequently has one night stands, usually drunk and after she's been dumped, I've disliked her character and been unable to care about her. Hello...Daddy Issues. Big time. (The writers didn't need to tell me that Meredith's father left her and her Mom when she was a kid. I figured that out on my own. It was no surpise to me when Mehredith finally reveals this point.) Real women like this make me want to jump in front of a train. They're always self-absorbed, perpetual victims whining about one guy or another who hasn't called them. Now the #1 show on TV has a lead character (and supposed protagonist) like this? Great. I weep for all the teenagers and college girls watching this show thinking Meredith is someone to aspire to because she gets to schtupp McDouchebag.
Ok, this is amazingly random, but one of the guest stars on tonight's episode is names Roxanne Hart...I almost burst out into song, except my roomate would have looked at me funny...
ok, just saw the kid with the tree through him...wow!

Ok, Addison has been my favorite character since she came on the show, but this episode just affirmed it. I LOVE that character, and Kate is great. I was totally not expecting the Mark thing at the end. That was a great touch. I'm a little annoyed that both guys are willing to wait for her. Come on! And does in irk anyone else that she's not actually blonde and they keep calling her blonde?

I love Addison. A lot. And yes, ash, that irked me too! When they said that, actually, I commented on it. Meredith just aggravates me sometimes...she plays up her "dirty mistress" status every chance she gets, and it's really not very necessary. And I need to stop getting so involved in television shows.
By the way, you can download the season 2 finale free on itunes right now.

woah! what happened at the end of yesterday's episode? What Mark thing? The last thing I saw was Derek talking to Addison on the bed saying it was all his fault. And then my tivo ended it! What'd I miss?
If you click on tv shows when you first go to the itunes store, in the top left corner it says "million hit download season finales" and the grey's Anatomy one is in there.

so I'm assuming you can watch the episodes through Grey's official website on abc.com. Unfortunately I'm on dial-up and I'm having the worst time getting it to work. It's nice to know that they're available for free, though.
You can only watch the most recent episodes on ABC.com, so if you want others you have to get them on iTunes.

We need more Addison! She makes that show. I thought that episode was really good. Can't wait for next week!
