Hello. I found this interesting little tidbit in today's NY Post's Pzge Six:
THERE'S a new gay power couple on Broadway. Jonathan Groff, who was nominated for a Tony for his work in "Spring Awakening," has been dating "Hair" star Gavin Creel, a source tells Page Six. Incidentally, Creel, who plays Claude in the musical, took over the role from Groff, who initially starred in the revival when it opened last year. Groff will also soon appear in a guest run on Fox's "Glee." Reps for the actors didn't get back to us.

oh this is too much... i think i need to crawl back in bed.
Not such new news, actually. And until they start referring to all "couples" by their sexuality, I'll continue to be offended by that statement: "new GAY couple" Lastly, Groff didn't open THIS production, only the park's -- and while I'm sure most of us realize this, I am amused that no one at the paper did.
...a source tells Page Six...
All right. Which one of you bitches called Page Six?
PJ, hahahahha :) Also, it kind of explains the whole recent Groff coming out publicly thing. I mean, if you are dating the most visible and outspoken out actor on Broadway who founded a non-profit, then you probably should be out. Ya think? So long as everyone is happy, I'm happy. But I am waiting for the leaked sex tape. I hope someone gets forgetful with where they leave their camera.

When did Jonathan Groff come out publicly?
I can't believe Page 6 is 3 weeks behind a bunch of 16-year-old SA fangirls posting on LJ from suburbia.
"Who cares?"
Usually I'm the first to scream, "Who Cares!?", in relation to celebrity dating gossip. But in this instance, Drunk Chita Rivera, I think this is a very good thing for the gay community. Both gentlemen are openly gay (so this isn't the usual case of The Post outing someone). I actually think this is a good thing for the gay community. To have two openly gay performers (who are also activists) unafraid to be who they are in the public spotlight. I think it could pave the way for other couples to come out of the dark and put a positive face on the movement.
I don't think Groff was ever truly "hiding" it, just never officially went on record. Which, in this day and age, strikes me as a bit odd, anyway. Do all publicly known figures NEED to officially declare their sexuality? Perhaps when that doesn't need to happen, we will finally be able to say this country has come a long way. Or far enough.

They're so adorable <3
Though the fact that this was "reported" on is kind of amusing to me haha. They probably just saw all the fans squeeing about it online and decided to deem that a "source" :P (not that I don't think it's true that they're dating- I totally do)
I love them both, and think they look great together. It's not any of my business whether they are or aren't actually dating, but I wish them the best regardless!

Mmmm, I don't know how this works. They both seem a bit "passive" to me.
Yes dramamama, people do NEED to come out.
Seeing two handsome, talented men together is
a great way for gay kids to see they are not alone.
When I was a kid we had Liberace, and I was scared to death I was gonna turn into that.
Good luck to Gav and Jon.

blaxx, have you ever heard Gavin's song 'Rocket Ride'?
Go listen to that song & tell me what it tells you.
Good for them that they are together but it's none of our business I think.
they are the brangelina of our people. so happy for them.
i'd give a leg to be in either of their positions (double entendre intended), but i'm super-happy for them both.
Rocket Ride the Kiss song? Did he change all the female pronouns?
