Hair will be playing in Philadelphia at the Prince Music Theatre may 26-June 17. I am in the cast, and pictured here on the bottom, under the older folks w/ silver hats (Guy with the curly brown hair, bottom right). The cast of 18 sounds incredible. We've only been in rehearsals since Tuesday the first, but I think it's gonna be a very good production of the show.
here is some info about the tickets and whatnot. I would love to see you there!!!

I want to check this out. I know Da'Vine Randoplh, who's in the cast. We both go to Temple.
Congrats Pippin! I didn't know you GOT the show! I remember you saying that you were waiting to audition. Very cool..you and Laura will both be fantastic I'm sure! I'll have to reveal my identity to you via text in a few! haha.
Yep I'm coming too! I went to Highschool and have done shows with the fabulous Kati Lyles
very excited about seeing the show!
ohhh, Davine is so fierce in the show, you need to see it just for her, and Katie Lyles is playing Sheila. I went to College with her, and she is one to watch out for.
thanks, my2cents!! really appreciate it. THe process so far has been very intigrative and difficult, but I am loving it. The set is gorgeous!!!!

Dumb question but is there just the one picture? I can't navigate that website well at all
Congratulations as well--sounds like a great production to be in

Break a leg tonight darling. I'm sure you'll be fierce!
Just got back from the first preview, and all I can say is WOW.
Pippin, who were you in the show? I probably missed this post, and I couldn't get the above photo to work. I was second row dead center (right next to the stage that sort of exploded over the seats) and, in comparison to those around me, the youngest.
I'm really exhausted and I'll post my full review later, but I wanted to mention what I found was the most powerful moment of the show. Once the chorus to the finale began and the cast lined up on their knees across the front of the stage, I remembered why I love theatre so much. Just that feeling of being a part of the show and feeling what the characters feel...so share that with your castmates, Pippin, and everyone go see this show!
Thank you, baby. I play Margaret, and I am the tribe member with brown curly hair, and patches all over my jacket.
That really means alot to me as well as castmates, becuase we have put in a lot of work with the show, and we are still in previews. opening is this Saturday. I am extremely tired right now, and my thighs are killing me from all the jumping around I do.
Thanks again for the support, and for others, please come see the show if you are anywhere near the area.
I really am going to try and see this.
It is a bad time in my semester but for theater.
There was a story about Ari in the Jewish newspaper the other day.
awwww, Ari!! we share a dressing room. He is great!

Pippin, that was some fabulous falsetto you did as Margaret! That was my favorite part of the show (and Elyse singing Frank Mills). You have a devilish twinkle in your eyes and you were such fun to watch. Have a great run!
I was there last night, and the show had some technical problems, mainly with the sound, but the actors displayed a level of professionalism that was really amazing. I can't wait to see it again when I am sure that these problems will all be worked out. There really isn't a weak link in the cast, EVERYONE was so good, and it was really amazing to get to see this musical staged. Oh, and the band was amazing as well. :)
I attended the Sunday matinee. I've been listening to the cast album since I was a kid, so it was incredible to finally see the show on stage. Rarely, do I see a cast without at least one weak link. But, the entire cast was amazing. They truly are a tribe. My mom has seen many versions of Hair, even the London cast in the late 60's, and she said by far this was the best production she's seen. Congrats to Pippin, the cast, and the Prince. I'll definitely be back.
Pippin, I DEFINITELY guessed that was you. Not sure why, but I had a feeling. You were so great! My mom (alias stagemom3) leaned over to me after you finished singing in falsetto and was like "how can he DO that?"
It was such a great show, and both the leads and the ensemble were fantastic. It didn't seem like there were any weak links in the show, and that really raised the quality of the show.
Congratulations again, and let us know how the rest of the run goes!
