They're in the studio today, according to tweets. Actually, today is the third day. I'm guessing instrument tracks are being laid down. Yay!

amazon has it listed with an October 16 release date.
Price (for cd) $21.99
What's the likelihood that there'll be a CD signing event at a B&N? As much as I'd like to preorder it on now, I'm holding off for that possibility.

I'm really hoping for that too. For Fun Home I did a pre-order, and then I bought a couple more copies at Barnes and Noble, and the cast nicely signed all of them. I don't know that the Hamilton procedures will be, if it even happens.
"
I like how they had the track listing and album artwork up on Amazon and iTunes before they even recorded the album. The digital release still seems to be set for late September.

So pumped for this! Especially Jonathan Groff's songs. The music sound incredible from the clips I've seen on Broadway.com!

I think they know what songs they want to do by now...
I don't remember seeing the reprises of "You'll Be Back" on the track listing. Am I mistaken and they are titled differently? I recall them being rather short in the show, maybe they aren't being included?

They are titled differently. Rather than being labeled as reprises of You'll Be Back (since they all use the same melody), they reprises are titled "What Comes Next?" and "I Know Him" on the cast album, because those are the lyrics he sings.
It's been a long time since I've been this excited for a cast album. I feel like we've gotten spoiled over the past few years with the number of truly outstanding cast albums that have been released.

I am guessing that due to the demand of people wanting signed CD',. If they do it, it will be at the B&N on Union Square. It's a huge space and not the one uptown. But this is just my opinion. They did the NPH book signing at Union Square. Had over 300 people in the store and the line still went 1/2 way around the block. Or they might do a second signing day.

Ditto for me on the excitement factor...I saw this a week ago and cannot get it out of my mind!
I saw it during the first weekend of previews and each day, I have another song stuck in my head. I know music has a lasting effect when I find myself looking up promos or b-roll just to hear the music.

Lin-Manuel mention several times before the possibility of having deleted/bonus tracks on the album. I wonder if that’s still true and the iTunes listing is just incomplete or maybe it’s a CD only bonus.

I don't think he was ever serious about the bonus tracks, though.
Seeing as the show is pretty much 100% sung through, it seems that this is the entire show on these 2 CD's, right?

Aww, too bad. I'm always curious to see what gets cut.
Certainly my thought, Jordan.
Here is a song that was cut:

Do we know if it's going to be on Apple Music? (I'm not sure how this works - I'm pretty certain the label decides this?).
Yes, according to this playbill article, it will be two discs.

It might since it will be released by Atlantic Records who already has a relationship in place with Apple Music.
^ Awesome, thank you.
