I keep thinking about how beautiful and fresh I thought the Lyric's main lobby looked when I saw On the Town there almost three years ago now. I hope they Hogwarts the hell out of it. They have no excuse not to make that theatre's exterior and lobby area absolutely magical.
Sorano916....So the address they give for the gift shop on the website is actually the address of the theater? They kind of make it seem as if it is a seperate space. I guess if they switch out merchandise between shows they can sell all that stuff.
BroadwayConcierge....I love their lobby and the the little shop in it. My first thought was that it will be turned into a merch shop for the show. I also hope they scrap the menus on thd back of the seats inside the theater.
In London, the shop is just in the lobby of the theatre. The entire area around the Palace is torn up at the moment so getting inside the lobby is actually something of a chore. But NYC is a totally different beast. Since they are moving the box office for the show to 43rd Street at the Lyric, I bet they make some kind of store on the 42nd Street side.
“I knew who I was this morning, but I've changed a few times since then.”
I totally forgot about that. They can have a field day on the 42nd street side. Got to peek in shortly after the renovations started. Can't wait to see what they did.
I have had luck in the past buying tickets on my iPhone, but in the last release of Hamilton tickets, I kept getting a weird error message. I later found out that others had the same problem. Maybe that's been fixed!

I'm sorry, I don't remember! In the text message with the code there was a link. I don't remember if the link took me to the app or the website. I do have the app installed on my phone.

Not sure it wil make make any difference but I am going to use the same device I started all this on. Hopefully can auto fill to speed up the process if I get a ticket. I was going to go use a desktop but realized I would probably have to type info in that my tablet has remembered. Luckily I will be at home when my time to buy arrives.
I've never done a land grab like this for tickets before.
will trying to select seats be a total cluster? I'm really tall and need a aisle.
What is the play here just ask for best avalible in my price point and go with the auto selected?
should I expect a little time to statigize or just buy immediately? In other words, what should I realistically expect, a total selll out within seconds or more civilized sale?
Does anyone have an idea of when would be the best time to go see this? In other words, it's a long ways for me to go so I'd like to see it (if I get tickets) in conjunction with other shows. Can you give me an idea of what other shows are on or opening between March and November? Thanks for your help.
In London, at the end of the Part One, when it's revealed that Voldemort is in power, all of the merchandise switches to Deatheater/Voldemort style merchandise. It's a neat little trick to see when leaving the theatre but it also means you might want to buy even more stuff.

Gonna try this myself. My home connection is very bad due to the area I live in and my phone has a much better connection. To be safe though, my boyfriend is going to be at his house on his laptop on stand by to help me if need be. I just hope that if I attempt on my IP address and then he has to go in on his that they don't kick us out because of it. He will still be doing it on my account.
I am hopeful that they understand that this is the middle of the day in the middle of the week. People have work, school, etc. They can't possibly expect people to drop everything to be at their laptop/desktop for this.

They don't care. And most tickets for most shows and events tend to go on sale in mid-morning on a weekday.
I know but I don't have a desktop. Just my tablet and phone. The desktop I was thinking of using was at the library. My laptop is out of commision. So, we'll see!
Alright, last request. If anyone is planning on going to the show June 13th, 16th, or 17th (all two show days) and would be willing to buy me a ticket, I'll pay you be in full instantly (Venmo or PayPal works), plus $30 extra for your generosity. I only need one ticket. I can pay any of the price points ($199 and below for each part). Please PM me if you'd be willing to do this. This means the world to me and I really can't believe there's a good chance I won't be able to get a ticket. I really hate this program. Tomorrow is going to be very devastating.
LesWickedly, I'm unfortunately buying tickets for a full six-person group so I can't help you out, but just putting it out there that I'm really wishing the best for you! Hopefully, something will work out and on the quicker side for you!
I was able to purchase Hamilton tickets when the last block went on sale on my phone, and didn't have any issues. I plan on using my phone to purchase these tickets too.
I'm bummed that I missed the registration window for these tickets! Do you suppose there will be another opportunity to purchase for this block or will I just have to wait to see the show a bit farther into the run?

I can’t imagine they’re going to sell out a 9 month block of shows to a limited customer base in a small window on one day. I could be wrong, but I’m sure they’ll be some more released at some point
If it’s anything like the misery I experienced when tickets went on sale in London, I wish you all luck Have a stiff drink ready. I was in a queue on the website for 6 hours and it crashed when I got to paying for the tickets. Not fun. But I did get in.
