I'm coming to NYC with a friend tomorrow and we are getting in the city at 6:15, so we are pretty much going to be going right to the SRO line for the matinee. Well, I also plan on rushing for Spider-Man, while my friend is waiting at BOM and then I'd be coming back after I got the Spider-Man tickets. Is this ok, or will be denied tickets? I also believe that SRO is two per person right? Thanks for the help guys!! :)
This was taken last Wednesday July 6, 2011 about 6am EST:
Are you kidding 6am or 6pm?
He's ****ing with you. That's just a photo of the typical lotto crowd.
You don't need to get in line that early for SRO. I have friends who did it last Friday and arrived at noon and were first- they said they could easily have arrived as late as 3 and still would've been fine.
Kad, the OP is asking about the matinee tomorrow, at 2pm.
6:15am is probably way too early, but on the other hand, if that's your only day to see the show and you've planned on seeing it, I'm always of the belief that it's better to be too early and be absolutely sure you have tickets. Especially since I'd say get there at 8am to be sure, and less than 2 hours isn't really time to do anything else instead, so you might as well spend the time in line. But that's me.
To answer your other question, yes, it is 2 per person, so you can come back and join your friend in line without a problem, as long as you are still only buying two tickets. Just in case, if anyone has a problem, just step away from the line and stand off to the side when he is buying the tickets.
Good luck! I hope you enjoy the show!
I walked past the theater 2 Saturdays ago at 7:30am and there were 30 people in line for the matinee.
I don't mean to be nasty, but this question has been asked several times. A search probably would have gotten you your answers.
